Toy Story 2 (1999)

Toy Story 2 is a 1999 American animated adventure comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. Lee Ermey, John Morris, and Laurie Metcalf reprise their roles from the first film and they are joined by Joan Cusack, Kelsey Grammer, Estelle Harris, Wayne Knight, and Jodi Benson, who play the new characters introduced in this film.

38:53 Buzz's wings popping up after seeing Jessie's moves is STILL funny, I wonder how many kids didn't get that back then but do so now 😆 Schwing

The scene with Jesse being given away always makes me cry😂 every time
  • @NetanelWorthy
Damn, you are extremely impressive with determining who the voice actors are. Mad props to you.
  • My personal opinion: "When She Loved Me" is one of those bittersweet songs that gives you a great backstory and makes you cry at the same time.
  • @MrMice...
The noises while watching the traffic cone scene, hilarious. Love Coby's youthful spirit.

Excellent reaction. My daughter was 14 when we saw this. After hearing Jessie's sad story, I sent her to her room to hug her baby bear. That was a toy she was given when she was born. At some point, they became inseparable.

Coby has a remarkable mind and a great sense of humor. She seems to have a masterful knowledge of filmmaking.

I do believe Toy Story was Pixar's first feature length movie. Up until then they did animated shorts.

A while back, I read a fan theory that "Emily" is actually Andy's Mom. If you look at the hat that Andy wears, it looks more like Jessie's than Woody's. Like it's a hand-me-down from his mother.
  • @BouillaBased
Yes, this one absolutely makes the list of sequels that are even better than the original.
  • The cleaner (Geri) was in a Pixar short where he played chess against himself in 1997 before the movie. So they decided to bring him back for this little role. Toy Story 3 and 4 next! Three is amazing too :D

i will forever enjoy bloopers where you can see the cast having fun with it
  • @moises4730
Impressed with your knowledge of tv shows and voice actors 😂
  • @davido.1233
Fun fact: The cleaner who works on Woody was modeled after Geri from a Short film, Geri's Game, which was released in tehaters alongside A Bug's Life.
  • @RyneMurray23
I had no clue that was Jason Knight until you said that sounds like Newman😂😂 now all I hear is Newman 😂
  • @crispy_338
She’s gotta watch the Star Command animated movie. Loved that as a kid

A Barbie doll was planned to be used in Toy Sotry 1 but Matell didn't grant permisson for two reasons 1. They saw Barbie as having diferent personalitiy depending on the girl playing with her, so they didn't want Barbie to have a defined personality. 2. They didn't though the movie was going to be a success. When Toy Story turned out to be a huge success, they were more willing to let Pixar use Barie in subsequent movies. On a side note, Barbie is voiced by Jodi Benson who voiced Ariel in The Little Mermaid.
