I remember seeing this in the theater with my friends back in '95. None of us had ever seen this kind of animation before. Had anyone up to that point? We were all like, "Woooooooow!" Now it's common, but back then... not so much.

Coby's reaction to this one was super cute!

As someone who worked in retail for many years, the Mr and Mrs Potatohead toys are still some of the most popular toys, they were always sold out.

Coby should continue the Toy Story franchise. Toy Story 3 had me sobbingggg!!! OMG!!!

27:39 The voice of Slink is the late Jim Varney. I know him mainly as a character named Ernest P. Worrell. I had previously had no idea he had been in this movie.

I was 21 when this came out, but even as an adult, I knew this movie was special. There had never been anything like this.

There are little adult gems in these animated child movies for the adults & parents Your fav SID toy the (Barbie Legs & fishing Rod with a Hook) is a HOOKER

Those green army men hurt when you step on them.

I love that all the "Toy Story" movies remind the viewers of their own childhoods. A brilliant concept wrapped up in cutting-edge (especially for 1995) animation that exceeds everyone's expectations for a family movie. I hope Coby reacts to all the sequels as well!

Coby's grin is something else. So fun to see her enjoying the movie that much. Childlike wonder is ageless. :-)

Favourite movie as a kid, pretty sure I wore out the VHS when it came out!
-
So many famous voices. Tom Hanks, (obviously), R. Lee Ermey John Ratzenberger Don Rickles Wallace Shawn and, of course, Santa himself, Tim Allen.
-
All the Toy Story films are good. Toy Story 2 is my favorite

I saw the scene with the green army men on TV as some sort of promotion I believe it was, and it absolutely blew my 11 y.o. mind! I've seen the movie countless times after but the english voices always sounds weird to me because I'm so used to the swedish version 😄
