  • What makes RealLifeLore exceptional is that instead of stringing together an overly simplified story, the channel gives you a whole messy web and walks you through how it all works.

The complexities and number of players in this geopolitical puzzle boggles my mind. Suddenly I understand why being a peacemaker isn’t as easy as one may think.

I’ve always wanted to learn about the Middle Eastern conflict but never got into it because it’s BEYOND complicated. Thanks for the somewhat easily digestible video.

This underplays the recent historic animosity between Iran and the USSR/Russia. There's a big square in Tehran that had three flags painted on the ground in the 1980s so they would be disrespected as thousands of people walk on them every day. Those flags were of the USA, Israel, and USSR.

Basically the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
  • Videos like this make you realize how little alot of us truly know, about what's going on around the world, and all the Geopolitical things going on as well. It opens your eyes into how important every little thing is, and how conflicts and power struggles have been happening for centuries.
  • Just goes to show that the phrase "War makes for strange bedfellows" holds true even to this day

Thank you for these videos, I feel like I understand the geopolitical world a little better thanks to them.

This video is a good reminder that military alliances are always complicated! There's never only two sides in a conflict.

I think you are exaggerating the relevance of the Tartus naval base. It can dock 4 frigates at best. It is essentially half of one pier and 2 tiny floating piers and a few repair facilities. It's not known how many soldiers are deployed there, but about a decade ago it was less than 10. And if you look at it on a map, it becomes clear that it lacks the support facilities for major repairs or to house a lot of people.

I don't always agree with your analysis but respect you for the amount of factual content you pack into relatively short videos.
