Anyone who played Crusader Kings can sympathize with what he did to the Boyars.
  • Honestly Vlad the Impaler was one of the most interesting people in history.
  • @ManticoreRO
Vlad reaching Heaven: "You did terrible things, Vlad. I am sorry, you cannot be allowed here!" Vlad reaching Hell: "Dude, you went to church and killed so many bad men. You cannot come here!" Vlad wakes up in his coffin. "Damn"
  • @ruttiger500
They need to make a real film of Vlad without the vampire shit in there.
  • When the Real guy is 1000 Times scarier than any vampire

imagine being so scary that someone uses as you as a deterant for war like "hey guys... so this is Vlad we have him under control but if you attack us we might just unleash him...; ok bye"
  • @Aeyo
This man single handedly made his country famous around the world 😂

He didn't always stab the furniture but when he did, it was the ottoman.

One thing regarding the "Night Attack" on the Ottoman camp which is not mentioned here... Vlad dressed up all his Wallachian soldiers in Turkish gear and (he) speaking fluent Turkish they could get past the guards (like it was the case in Giurgiu mentioned in this vid) when most of the Ottoman troops were asleep. Once they got in and started the attack, he and some of his generals (who had a few lessons of that language) shouted orders in Turkish so the awakened Ottoman soldiers were so confused not knowing what is going on, that they even started killing each other.

Tips for Romanian noble man: If the Voievod says: "let's have a feast", do not go under any circumstance

Just a mention, Matia Corvin the king of Hungary was the son of John Hunyadi, or as romanians know him "Ioan de Hunedoara" of wallachian descent.
  • He knew what is to be done in that time, if he wanted to create a respectful state. He had to fight against two great powers at his doorstep, and boyars who always tried to keep their privileges. He knew he will not be popular, but he knew his position and options. He sacrificed everything he had to create a state: his reputation, population, army, nobleman... What a dedicated statesman.
