Where's that time stamp dude when you need him?

I need that portfolio diet but I followed your recommendations and changed my diet significantly for a year, and though my cholesterol is much better but still isn’t great. 😢how long can it take?
  • Eating frozen fruit while still frozen has additional benefits. During the time spent thawing, frozen fruit loses much of its polyphenols. The author of Eating on the Wild Side - who uncovered the research showing this - recommends thawing as fast as possible such as in microwave, or I dunk in hot or boiling water. But eating while still at last partly frozen works too.
  • Can you please address if a handful of almonds /day and 1/2 avocado non-daily but regular intake can affect lipid panel? Nuts and avo added when starting wfpb. Eating WFPB (no meat, no dairy, no oils, scant salt, no sugar) 8 mos and lipid pan 7:14 el is much worse. Im 61 yo i increased exercise and weigh 138, 5'4". Thank you. I enjoy all videos

Thank you for all the valuable information add Greger! When you mention eggs not being recommended, you discuss their impact on cholesterol levels. I’m just wondering what your thoughts are on eating egg whites as a source of protein without all that cholesterol?

I preferred when the format wasn't just podcast but video. At least, please show each question in written, sometimes we don't even know what was the question...

Took Niacin 500mg, but flush was kinda strong. So I took 100mg daily, expecting the flush 5 times smaller. Did not make any difference. Still strong flush. Strangely, some days no flush at all. Almost forgot I took Niacin. I tryed to figure out what affects the flush, no luck. Empty stomach or after food doesnt seem to make a difference for me....

Chlormequat: Is it a problem? I heard of it in oats.
  • @Just4AZ1
I like eggs and dairy in moderation. My cholesterol levels are in check for a 70 yr old. The difference is I have no chronic diseases like 90% of those over 65 due to resistance training and cardio and keeping my weight in check.
  • Dr Greger, please do a podcast with Bryan Johnson about his blueprint - whole food vegan anti-aging protocol. Would be super interesting!
  • @jakobw135
Every time you deal with a question of protein, you do NOT address the fact that as we age we digest and absorb LESS efficiently - correct? Well, in order to maintain proper protein levels, don't you need to eat MORE?

Such great information. Terrible shame that the good doctor slurs so much of his content. Turn on closed captions, and you will see words like hibiscus transformed into hsss or he's or hs. Please, Doctor Greger, slow down your speech for those of us who want to hear your content.
