Apple, for years, has been one of the most popular phone makers. The iPhone is one of the most, if not, the most successful products ever created.

The success of the iPhone can be credited to the amazing craftsmanship and customer-centric design but there is definitely more to that.

Apple has done an amazing job of making Android users feel like they are not welcome to the party.

And this has manifested in many different ways in society, from Android users not getting dates to getting bullied by their friends.

In this video, I talk about how they have executed this genius marketing strategy and sold hundreds of billions of dollars worth of products.

Imagine buying overpriced e-waste and somehow think you're better lmao

I always felt apple was for people who need less features and control combined with having trouble understanding how to use technology. But that opinion was formed 15 years ago when most people fit in that box.

I recenetly upgraded from an iphone 13 pro to an s24 ultra and it has been incredible the only thing ive missed is imessage becaue apple is stupid and isnt adding full rcs support. I dont think android is just the "if you cant afford an iphone" option becasue androids can be far better than the best iphones. The only thing iphones really have over androids at this point are apple services such as apple wallet, imesssage and icloud.
  • Apple has lost track of their best customers. I used to heavily recommend them to folks with zero interest in tech and an active commitment to never learning anything. The removal of the home button on iOS proves this. The home button allowed tech illiterate folks to open the escape hatch and immediately find themselves in familiar, safe territory. No matter how deep they got into some scary unknown place, they knew they could get back to safety instantly. Try explaining the upward swipe to your illiterate grandmother. Watch as she accidentally activates multitasking. Check out the look of fear on her face when you tell her what multi tasking is. You’ve just convinced her that this thing is too complicated. Even if she pretends that she is going to use it, she is simply going to toss it in a drawer or carry it around in her purse with a dead battery.

Macbooks really feel like propaganda, they are well made, well designed, macOS looks like a science computer OS, and overall Apple makes their machines look like they cost 7000 dollars to make. AND THEY OVERCHARGE FOR THEM!

I don't think I'm better. I do think my phone is better though. - iOS/Android developer, user of both OS since 2010

So... what's the issue with buying an Android no matter what? No really, what is it? Being able to side load? Jailbreak our phones? The only issue I see here is how we don't wanna spend an arm and a leg on something so meaningless. Besides, ya don't need some crazy expensive ass phone in order to play some low quality mobile games and to scroll on TikTok now do ya? Oh well, at least it was a fun video, even if it doesn't have a real takeaway to it. Wish ya the best of luck buddy!
  • If iPhone don't improve as fast as android it will eventually fall because how long people will buy iPhone for it's luxury and exclusiveness eventually the iPhone will be saturated in market and you can't run business on imessage and airdrop feature and for quality features people will try other options. Apple's vision pro was massive innovation and i think it could have a big hand in ecosystem, and it's one of the only thing which is saving apple.
  • nah, it's more like "first world countries problems"
  • Apple Ecosystem is not way ahead like it used to be, Samsung has cool features like Dex, Quick Share (which is faster than AirDrop in most cases) and Samsung also has their laptops with features that allow you to mirror your screen, use your tablet as your secondary screen etc. Apple just locks down users with exclusive stuff, if it wasn't for that, a lot of people would switch over to Android. And optimization matter is a thing of the past since 2020-2021. I have an S20 FE (a cut-down flagship from 2020), runs really well and has some features even the baseline 2023 iPhone lacks like a telephoto camera, 120 Hz screen, Desktop mode via Dex, reverse wireless charging, Pro Video built in so you can get more noisy and grainy but far more detailed videos at night or fix the shutter speed, ISO etc. for consistent shooting. iPhones, since 11 series, never got an actually big upgrade. A lot of people are sticking to their 11s because of this. I mean, there are lots of things that were updated but still, not significant enough. So, except for specific things like general video quality, social media apps and ecosystem, Android devices offer the same or a better experience in a lot of aspects. Lag is a thing of the past now.

Today's mission (applicable only for Apple users): Buy a maxed out Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and the most expensive Microsoft Surface device if you truly are rich.
  • Honestly, i don't how people use mac os. It was on of the most horrible experiences of using decktop os. It can't done half of my work, it feels very slow, mouse acceleration is awful. It can't multitasking properly, it's overheating. Also you doomed to use touchpad, and i hate it, but using mouse, somehow, feels even worse on Macs

I want to know why the hell my macbook disconnects my Android file Transfer when I use a 3rd party cable ( which works very fine on my windows for file transfer ) but when I use the apples own cable it connects perfectly.
