Sorry guys! I had hoped to get a vlog up today but I’ve been at a family wedding and I’ve been having way too much fun to edit 🥲 I promise there will be a vlog next Sunday! 💖🎥

I‘m a fifth year med student and I‘m only now realizing, that studying 12 hours without a break shouldn‘t be a goal. We need to finally start talking about work-life-balance, how important it is to live (because guess what, it doesn‘t get better in residency). Learning to be more efficient is great, if it helps us get more free time, but we seriously need to stop that productivity trend/who can study the most in a week etc.
  • 12 hours with no break ! I'll be having a burnout for rest of the week. Btw the flow state thing is so real. I'm actually interrupting my flow state and here watching your vid. Feeling guilty rn.

I love this style of editing with the flashbacks to old videos of you studying and I just wanted to say as gorgeous as you clearly have always been, your current makeup and hair really brings out your natural features and you look so happy and healthy and glowing from the inside out xx

Faye you're such an inspiration for me <3 I have ADHD too and that's why sometimes I have no motivation cause I constantly think that I'm stupid. Thanks for showing us that we can do it!

Omg this is literally the advice i needed, i always wondered why I'd lose focus mid day, turns out it's because i use my break using phone and doing something more stimulating, thank you 💗

This is the most useful and most importantly RELATABLE video I've ever stumbled across, thank you sooo much!!! 💖 Everyone is talking about the pomodoro method and how good and helpful it is but for me, as you said, once I find myself finally immersed in the studying I don't want to take a break, I tried multiple times to get used to it but I always failed by taking 3-5hrs break on the phone/computer and I blamed it on myself... It is important that we find what works better for each one of us and the no phone method is a MUST for me, I'm either placing it somewhere that is out of reach or I take it into another room so the idea of getting up to grab it seems more difficult and because I have some time to think my action I've found myself getting up to get my phone but then in the middle of it I make a u-turn and coming back without it, in a sense I discourage myself from using it. Out of sight out of mind :)
  • Finding your channel has been so helpful. I’m not studying, but wfh. The tips still apply ❤
  • @luvvreni
you can change the pomodoro time if you don’t like 25/5. you can do 45 mins of studying with 15 min breaks or 50 mins of studying and 10 min breaks

im so happy i found your channel a few months ago, i had been struggling finding a job in the art industry and made the decision to pursue another interest in my life. I'm gonna study nursing this September and I just know its gonna be a difficult one for me, immediately into Bachelors degree with no background in this, i think all of your tips will make it slightly easier for the studying part of it. im just so excited for this and I cant wait to start this new journey!
