Let's play a game. How many wishes do you think it will take for me to get Zhongli?
  • @khazmor7098
Collei's puppet is named Cuilein-Anber which sounds like a childish/cute way to say Klein-Amber which is german and that means "Mini Amber". Since Collei isn't able to read and write like other people do in Teyvat because she started learning pretty late. To know more of her and Amber's story read the Genshin Impact Manga.

The fact that you got a 4 star weapon from a single pull, after already getting a 4 star from your 10-pull is also very lucky! And it's a great 4 star weapon too
  • @AngekGrip
Sacrificial fragments is one of sucrose best weapons bc its passive has a chance to reset her elemental skill.

So, making a summary of a few details you probably want to know: -> Constellations make a character stronger. They are passives you get for getting the same character multiple times. (Except for the Traveler Main character. You get their constellations on main quests). You can activate them at will, as each contellations materials are unique to each character. -> Ascending characters is important, however, it is locked behind Adventure Ranks. Usually you get a unique passive by getting a character to certain ascencion levels. For example: when you get Noelle to level 21+, you get a passive that gives a Geo Shield to characters in your party when they are low HP. You can read about these passives on their "talents" tab. They can usually make you understand what to build on that character. (Although, building a character is something you don't have to worry about for quite some time) -> Every element reacts with one another, with a few exceptions. The exceptions are: Geo + Anemo, and Dendro + Anemo, Cryo or Geo) You get the "Tutorial" for reactions you triggered, that's why it only appeared the one talking about Dendro seeds. -> Getting characters is hard, you usually need to plan ahead and save your pulls to get the character you want. You have a guaranteed character every 90 pulls, but even then, it's a 50/50 chance to get what you want. You're guaranteed to get the character YOU want at 180 pulls (if you're extremelly unlucky). -> You should aim to do your comissions every day, as each comission gives you 10 primo gems, with another 20 bonus at the end of completing all 4 and talking to katheryne at the Adventurer's Guild. And also, take your time, 20 mins at the beggining of the episode making pulls and reading/setting up characters is part of the game, we've all been there. Thank you and good luck.

Since you’ve gotten Collei, use her with electro units like Lisa. Dendro has buffed electro so much that it does crazy damage now. Also, perhaps you’re gonna have to buy up primogems if you want to get Zhongli haha 51:00 it does react with electro. Don’t rely on charge or normal attacks for reactions. For reactions you’re gonna have to quick switch your characters and use their elemental skill. For example, use collie’s boomerang and quickly switch to Lisa and use her normal att (bc she’s a catalyst) or elemental skill.
  • Daily quests give 60 primos every day and are a pretty integral part of the game, especially if you plan to stay f2p and want Zhongli before his banner is gone. Take it from me, I was f2p for the longest time before caving and getting a few Welkins. You can trial Zhongli and Tighnari for 40 primos You got Sacrificial Fragments from the gatcha and that's literally one of Sucrose's best weapons. Totally worth levelling. Collei scales on atk and you actually made her your strongest character with that 4* goblet and the Berserker's set. If you could find Berserker's pieces that have an atk main stat, that'd be fantastic. They actually drop more frequently from stronger enemies and if you're looking for a serious challenge, hang around Drangonspine (the mountain in Mondstadt), or at least go to the outskirts. There's some beefy enemies there. Constellations are kinda like an extra thing that you do on the side and it's not a part of the general progression of the game for most characters. To get them a higher level, you just need to be a high enough AR and defeat some bosses and gather some items. That said though, constellations can make a character absolutely busted. Raiden Shogun's constellation can decrease enemy resistance to damage, effectively increasing her own damage by a massive margin, and Zhongli's constellations can do anything from let him put up an extra pillar to making him a healer. Constellations are a mechanic to get people to spend money, but they're absolutely not required for actually completing or enjoying the game. The Traveler gets constellations for free for completing Archon quests and exploring the world, but they don't make him too busted. He's not stronger than Collei at the moment. You CAN get Xiangling for free, but not through her story quest that you're doing right now. To get her for free, you gotta complete 3 floors of Spiral Abyss which you have yet to discover. Even if you did discover it now though, I don't think they'd let you in, you need a higher AR. Ehhh ... I think that covers most questions. Lemme know if I missed anything. Edit: My pea brain forgor about Dendro reactions. Dendro can react with electro, pyro, and hydro. Dendro is also special in that it makes use of triple reactions. There's a lot to cover, so I won't cover it, but just to get the gears turning, applying Dendro, then Electro will put the enemy into a state of "Quicken". From there, you can hit it with either Electro or Dendro and that attack will be amplified. Try out all kinds of reactions. You have a lot of permutations to run through.

Internal me: "Yes, put Amber and Collei on the same team, they're best friends". BanditJo: Switches out Amber for Collei Me: Demonic screams from the depths of hell
  • @kimirvin8242
If you want Zhongli don't forget to do your daily 4 commisions then get the bonus reward from Katheryne
  • I want to be honest with you and lower your expectations Abit. Alot of people takes 60 to 90 pulls just to get the 5 star character they want. Sometimes it's not even guaranteed, you might see Zhongli on the banner but you might get a different 5 stars character. It's called the 50/50 system, if you win it, you get the character that is shown. If you lose, you get "those characters" in the standard banner. Don't be sad though, If you happen to lose the 50/50, your next 50/50 is an automatic win. It just means you have to play the game alot more to get those primogems that can pull alot more than 10 times only.

Gacha Tip: The currently available "end game" for Genshin Impact is the Spiral Abyss, which is highly recommended to have a total of 8 fully built characters for it. For the early to midgame player such as yourself, investing in one character is usually more than enough (as higher levels cost exponentially more resources). Both the Weapon Event Wish and Character Event Wish require Intertwined Fates to pull. To simplify, with the Epitomized Fate system, it will take 240 pulls to guarantee a target weapon as compared to 180 pulls to guarantee a desired character. As the Spiral Abyss can be cleared with only 4-star weapons, it is highly recommended for f2p and low spenders to ignore the weapon banner completely until they have fully built teams for the end game.
  • 30:25 This episode just keeps getting better and better. That sliding was so smooth xD Jo just has such a charatcer, it's really enjoyable to see him go through even smallest things in this game. Like, some people would say "cmon u so slow! be faster" but nah! This thorough and detailed playthrough is exactly what brings the viewer and the gamer-youtuber-blogger, whatever the name is, together. Not some cheap "only epic cutscenes and pulls reactions". I'm just so glad we have such a wonderful part of community with such fun and engaging content creators.
  • @yeng76
Sacrificial Fragment is good for sucrose btw
  • So... Cuilein-Anbar... Collei-Amber... Funny how you switched out Amber for Collei 🤣
  • @Anvitzi
So when it comes to ascending characters... You don't need the constellation to level up, with just reaching the adventure level you are good to go... HOWEVER... If you want to ascend Noelle you really need to get those ascension items, the Geo gems you can buy them in Mondstadt but can't remember if you can get it from level 15 onwards or after the Archon Quest is done. After you manage to ascend her for her next ascension you REALLY need to go and start killing the Geo Hypostesis that's on Liyue because it drop a boss item she needs to ascend going forward. The same for other characters, after level 20 you need to check which boss items they need to ascend them later. You could enter Sumeru from Liyue, is not blocked so if you want to ascend Collei you'll just have to walk... A lot XD Oh, if you get Zhongli, he also needs the same Geo boss material and some Liyue items. If you need more primos then make sure to do dailies every time you get in. Good luck! :3
  • @yolkyegg
Wishing for characters really gives you that adrenaline rush huh 😂
  • @fellknight
37:50 It will improve the traveler but sucrose is a better anemo character in almost every way. You might as well use it though since you can't use it anywhere else.
  • 44:30 actually there is a thing call elemental resonance, you can find it party setup, top right corner. It will show you the passive effects depending on what elements you have on your team. For skill cooldown reduction, you need 2 anemo cahracter on your party to receive that passive effect. it will also increase movement speed and decrease stamina consumption.
  • @d28abhishek
38:03 well technically, as you explore you’re gonna find more constellations for the traveller, but you currently don’t have to replace any of your characters. But if there’s one character you should invest on, it’s sucrose. She good late game, more so than any of your current characters.
  • @sk4hunter737
If you want to keep it f2p, do all your 4 daily missions, they are 60 primogems daily
