I don't understand the level of hatred directed at Ser Criston. I don't like him. Then again, I don't like Ser Otto, Prince Daemon, Prince Aegon, Prince Aemond or Queen Rhaenyra's Small Council.

Some could say that he started off honorable, and became ultimately corrupted by the "noble" system that literally bastardized * all* that he held SACRED. He, in effect, became their Creature as much as Clegane became Zombie Kingsguard, later. A weapon, a golem, if you will. Something with no conscience or decency, only lives to serve. (That's what I'd say if I liked him, which I don't, lol)

Can we really say that Cristan Cole beat Daemon Targaryen tho? It was a couple of months ago since I watched it, but didn't Daemon knock Christan down first, but turned around for applause from the audience instead of finishing him? I got the feeling that Daemon was better, but that he showed off and ended up losing due to that.
