Other people have mentioned this already, but getting angrier due to testosterone hrt is not a guarantee! From what I've heard, most transmasc people on T have rather gotten happier and less dysphoric, which calms down anger issues. I just don't want transmasc people to turn down potentially life-saving treatment because they're scared of something that is mostly a misconception.

the exact second you turn 40, all of the girl juice pours out of your ears

For being bisexual, I sit very straight personally.

I'm 21, and I have been considering transitioning for over a year now...... I think the time has come.... idk if I have the strength to face what is coming.... but all I can do is try and live how I want to live, wish me luck in the coming fight

I started HRT as my 71st birthday present to myself. It’s never too late! Did you know: you can inject subcutaneously instead of intramuscular—I find it far less traumatic. And progesterone acts as a T-blocker. Thank you, Icky, for all your hard work! 🥰

I started HRT 3 weeks ago and now I like pickles and started watching One Piece so it's safe to say it's over for me

I'm 54 and transitioned 19 years ago, and the changes really always continue. You do hit a plateau. but that plateau actually slopes upwards to more secondary sex changes and reinforcement. It's a wonderful thing to experience even after 19 years :^)
  • I think it's a really common misconception that taking testosterone as a trans man makes you more angry but that hasn't been my experience at all. My anger feels different with a testosterone brain than it did with an estrogen brain, for sure, but I would say I was a much more angry person before hrt. I wouldn't say testosterone makes you angrier, you just experience anger differently. I do think that just the act of transitioning for ppl that wanna transition will make you generally less angry bc there's so much more joy

Ashley, it's been almost a month now that you cracked my egg. I have had crisis moments about my identity for over 10 years but always felt scared to deal with the emotions. After watching you for some time, I felt like okay what if I try to accept some of these emotions... I first accepted it to myself and oh wow I felt things that I have not felt for a long time, after which I told about it to a trustable friend and after that it's been just more and more happiness. I haven't had the easiest life mentally at the moment, and it's baffling to me how much less anxiety and bad thoughts I have of myself now! I'm 32 years now and I feel like I regret so much not starting sooner. If it weren't for your right words at right time, it could be that I held these emotions in for a lot longer and it would make me regret that even more in the future. Anyway, I just wanna say a huuge thank you with a hug! I've been watching other trans related things too for longer, but something in you just made me have the right thoughts to process this. I've been thinking that this acceptance has probably saved me even, since I have had so many things going in wrong direction but now I actually have been taking care of myself and see myself going forward and having hope... I still feel like it's partly thanks to you. Saving is a powerful word yea, but I truely believe that I wouldn't have been able to get out of some bad thoughts if it wasn't for you. Once again, thank you thank you thank you! ❤

As it is written. Icky has never failed to crack an egg. She is simply incapable of missing.
  • What my mother hopes and prays for me.....😐she doesnt even realize that detransitioning after being on hrt for that long would be a whole new transition, not just "going back to normal" as she sees it😕

personality changing is a weird one, because it's not even entirely down to HRT. some of it is just down to you having the freedom to change and just completely changing the variables you are living under: if your circumstances, your worries, your confidence, etc. all change.. your personality will change with them.

I started transitioning at 35. I'm turning 43 on Saturday and I'm happier than I ever have been before transitioning. I'll never go back.

I'm 37 this year and been on HRT 3 months, I sure as heck ain't stopping in a few years! Love your videos Ashley ♥️

The funny thing is that I think they were talking about menopause after fourty, as though HRT isn't used to treat menopause
