Comparing The Voices - Superman (Updated)

After months of requests, I finally did it, I updated my first "Comparing The Voices" video, which was Superman (If you go back to that video, which you shouldn't lol It had short audio clips, pace was wonky, the images weren't that clear, went by my old "small image" template style, and audio levels were all over the place, i've progressed along way since then.) Since he's been around in media for 80 years, It's a long one. Many actors on screen have portrayed him, but twice as many have voiced him. Now enjoy this while its still current, like Batman, a new actor will fill that role. We have: A DCAU Gotham Commissioner (Hasting), Father and Son (Tim & Sam), Sephiroth (Newbern), Big named voice actors, (Nolan, Troy, Yuri, David, Michael, Crispin, Travis & Matthew), former Former Firefly alums (Tudyk and Baldwin) some current Doom Patrol actors (Bomer & Tudyk), note worthy onscreen actors (Maclachlan, Harmon, Routh, Warburton, Valley, Bomer, Underwood, Bratt, O'Connell, Cage, Tatum), and comedic takes (MacFarlane, Green, Breckin, Ferguson, Shinick and Weird Al). Tim Daly and George Newbern are equally the best.

It's like Superman's voice has an archetype: Confident, yet kind and restrained, with a certain firmness. Majority of these voice actors fit it well. The comedic takes are a cool difference.

I never knew Superman animated and justice league Superman were different voices. They sound so alike!

Wow George Newbern has beaten out Tim Daly as the longest Superman voice- 18 years. Way to go George.

9:40 is absolutely incredible, one of the best Superman moments in any medium

George Newbern ... just for the quote "What we have here is a rare opportunity for me to cut loose and show you just how powerful I really am!"... ... and then shake a city with a punch to Darkseid! <3 That set a "standard" :P

It's so hard to tell a difference between Tim Daly and George Newbern, but I think I slightly prefer Daly

George Newbern is THE Superman voice. Man I get nostalgic hearing it.

As much of a fan of the Batman, (he is my favorite, after all), there's no denying the this man, this Superman was the first of all Superheroes. You wouldn't have Batman, Wonder Woman, Marvel's Spider-Man, The Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, the list goes on and on. Superman, Kal-El, Clark Kent, the last son of Krypton,... he was the first superhero that ALL other heroes were spawned from. He is the role model, he is the bar that has been set, and will forever will be of what a superhero should be.
