Can't wait to see them in concert. When they announced the next tour my dad said and I quote "Metallica is the only band I want to see and haven't seen in concert. My life would be complete if I got to see them, and I wouldn't want anything else for my entire life." So of course I bought tickets for him, my sister , my daughter and I for Christmas. Every day he's watching videos of past concerts. I woud say he's excited. He's very excited about having three generations there and he reminds me everyday

I remember this was when Metallica supposedly sold out, and they did.... Every seat in the house, evertime they played, anywhere they played. 🤣
  • Lyrics: And the road becomes my bride I have stripped of all but pride So in her I do confide And she keeps me satisfied Gives me all I need And with dust in throat, I crave Only knowledge will I save To the game you stay a slave Rover, wanderer, nomad, vagabond Call me what you will, yeah Oh, but I'll take my time anywhere Free to speak my mind anywhere And I'll redefine anywhere Anywhere I roam Where I lay my head is home, yeah And the earth becomes my throne I adapt to the unknown Under wandering stars I've grown By myself, but not alone I ask no one And my ties are severed clean Less I have, the more I gain Off the beaten path I reign Rover, wanderer, nomad, vagabond Call me what you will Yeah, you will But I'll take my time anywhere I'm free to speak my mind anywhere And I'll never mind anywhere Anywhere I roam Where I lay my head is home, yeah, yeah But I'll take my time anywhere I'm free to speak my mind And I'll take my time anywhere Anywhere I roam Where I lay my head is home, that's right But I'll take my time anywhere I'm free to speak my mind anywhere And I'll redefine anywhere Anywhere I roam Where I lay my head is home Carved upon my stone My body lie, but still I roam, yeah, yeah Wherever I may roam Wherever I may roam, roam Wherever I may roam Wherever I may roam, yeah Wherever I may wander, wander, wander Wherever I may roam Yeah, yeah, wherever I may roam Yeah, yeah, wherever I may roam Wherever I may roam Wherever I may roam

The beginning of the song makes me feel like a villain
  • @ApexLunatic
Jason's bass tone is what made Metallica's Black Album what it is

5:06 This part gives me fucking chills everytime I hear it. "Carved upon my stone, my body lies, but still I roam, yeah-yeaaahh" This is freaking cool and inspiring. This is the fucking metal I love.

Sometimes I remember when I was 5 years old and my dad play this to me. The first time I heard it… I can’t explain the feeling or the sensation, but I loved it
