Very informative and feels like just the right time. Morrowind interest seems unusually high atm.
  • @VLADPowder
This will be perfect for Morropilling my friends!
  • i'm a veteran of this game (first played it in 2003), but i still enjoy these types of videos
  • @Mateumt
your guides got me into daggerfall years ago, hope they do the same for a lot of people getting into morrowind!
  • @Jimmyinvictus
I wasn't expecting this video, but as an old Morrowboomer, it made me smile. There seems to be a mini-renaissance of interest in Morrowind recently and this video was full of helpful advice for any TES fan looking to try (or return to) TES III. Well done, Mr. Z!
  • @FaLaN69
Thx again for doing this for the community!

FYI I heavily reccomend Lyle Shnub's Morrowind Mechanics series if you want to really understand how your character works. There's quite a lot going on under the hood that you might want to know.
  • @Goobrx
I finally got down to giving Morrowind a shot and I really enjoyed using OpenMW with some “vanilla plus” style mods as a first play-through and it really encouraged me to learn the more complex older mechanics with hit dice and all that to give Daggerfall a try without being as intimidated

Getting a constant effect restore fatigue enchant asap is probably the best advice I've seen on videos like this
  • @sitordan
Great video for newbies. Well put together and full of precious information.

As an atronach you can just use a reduce intelligence spell or potion on self and after its effects wear off, your magica will be full again. Casting golden saints into lava then casting soul trap on them as long as you have the appropriate soul gem can help you rack up a serious amount of gold. Most vendors will not be able to buy it but the unique mud crab vendor will. With the amount of tutorials online, you can make anything work, playing as a heavy swordsman but struggling go and get the fist of randagulf.
  • UPDATE: I got Morrowind, gonna start a fun adventure 2024 (: thank you for this video and your channel!!! Only a few minutes in and already I want to comment to praise how unique you are. I don’t know anything about you or your channel but keep being your genuine self man. You as a person are great and that seeps into your passion for this. I wouldn’t keep watching if you were anyone else or any different. I’ve wanted to get into morrowwind and daggerfall for a few years now actually lol. Just haven’t been able to or found the time, but that’s okay. Part of me likes the idea of finally experiencing these games; part of me enjoys fantasizing about “imagine how my life with be when I finally get to cozy up at night and play some Morrowind.” Maybe a bit silly, but that’s fine :) Thanks for the vid

Only someone who loves morrowind could have made such a well explained and thought out guide with proper context. Thank you ZZ. I am starting a new run
  • @Angelikatosh
Never did a proper full playthrough of Morrowind myself, this video came at a perfect time.
  • @Vsevolod3788
This was the first game I've installed on my first ever computer in 31.12.2002 (I bought the disk long before I got the computer!) and I'm still a new player in 2024! :D
  • @ThorTheCrusher
Fantastic video Zaric, this is definitely reigniting my interest in starting up a 2nd playthrough of Morrowind on OpenMW.
  • What a coincidence. I just bought Morrowind last week, and gonna start playing it this saturday. Thanks for the starter tips.
