  • Dude's a fool. I mean that in a good way. From his little talking lure to his screamin' fast bass boat, he is excellent! One of the most enjoyable personalities on the int err rent. Thanks.

Just a little addition to the straw hack, the little straws that go to each water balloon in those "Bunch of Balloons" packs, is exactly the same size as a WD-40 straw.

When I see you , I pull you up. Then I get a coffee and prepare for some info and a good deal of fun. THANKS from T.C. MICHIGAN!!!!😊
  • The WD-40 isn't a good idea because it's a petroleum based oil, which pollutes the waters. I would recommend using Pam butter flavored cooking spray instead.... 😉👍
  • On your hack number 6, I use a piece of PVC trim board from Lowes, its about 3/4 thick and just cut off how ever much of a length you need and glue it, works really well
  • @Pjmac
Have you considered boat hand towels? Old dish towels/thrived store. with grommets (Plastic).Plastic shower curtain holds, Carabiner… think golf towels. Clip and stay put don’t fly out of the when moving…
  • To go along with your melting lures back together, use a sharp tip soldering iron to melt them back together. For years I used a crappie jig that wasn't sold in my area. Before they would get totally destroyed I'd melt them back together using a soldering iron and glue them back on the hook. Those things would last forever.
  • Sweet tip on the lighter and soft plastic lure mend! I always fish with screw locks to make them last longer or use superglue, but this is AWESOME!
  • Another great video. Love the hacks you come up with. Also, you and your lure buddy are a great team. An "awesome" bonus for watching your videos and have come to expect seeing him. Good stuff my friend!!
  • You can pick up 3 packs of cutting boards, cheap, at stores like Ross, T.J. Max, Home Goods. But I agree with you, to just get a new one for the kitchen, and recycle the old ones in the shop! I have a small stack I use all the time in my home shop, for cutting and crafting. They make a good cooler dividers / cutting board, on big coolers! Or small outdoor rig tables w/ a cup holder, inserted in them, on a beach rod holder. And you can work with it like wood.

I love the conversation with you and the lure. I be laughing so hard. He's definitely the star of the show lol. Been wondering who voices him 😆
  • Using those WD-40 straws is pretty 'slick'! No--really!! Great ideas as always!!
  • Every spring, gardening stores sell closed cell foam knee pads similar to the mat for about a dollar each. Now I'm not vouching for any similarities in durability but I'll guarantee one of those little squares ain't that cheap.

For the transducer mount, I used 3/4 inch pvc deck board. Works great. Awesome video.
  • @guyh.4553
Good video Keith! I am using the cutting board hack myself. Works really well. But what I did was to glue up2 pieces of cutting board together with gorilla glue, then mount it when dry. For putting it on the boat I did the typical screw mount but I always put ton of silicone as a backer and put it in the screw holes. Works excellent!
  • I have an industrial laser cutter and when I have time I cut those anti-fatigue mats with it for toolbox liners, gun case liners, safe shelf pads...they're cheap and have a lot of uses! I got these ideas from one of your bucket hack videos!
  • @JoeDeLuise
We use sinker slides up here in the North East for the fishfinder surf rig. Even if braid cuts thru the straw after a day's use, it's still way cheaper then buying them. And it may not, im definitely gimme try this one!
