This is probably the most informative preview vids of the game I've seen so far. Well done. And about the game being linear/mission based. I quite prefer that. I'd be able to rely less on having to follow Youtube walkthroughs to avoid getting lost and/or messing up interlocking quests.

I have heard that activating the second unlock-able portion of a boss fight and defeating that boss will give you earlier access to some features that you would get later on in the game if you don’t otherwise engage the hidden portion of the boss fight

I work with a guy that games a lot, whenever he is off work he just plays COD, that the only game he plays ever year when it comes out he migrates to that 1: but he does nothing but complain about how CODs fallen. I really feel sorry for these type of gamers: never getting to experience games like Black Myth, Sekiro, Skyrim, The Witcher 3…It’s a sad existence for a COD player imo.

I hope they have a team behind this like that has the same passion for making better and better games like FromSoft does. It’s lacking so much in the industry and I hope this game gets played for years by people and recognized as one of the best ever.
