She’s a doctor she probably doesn’t even need the money she could get from YouTube but she still chooses to give us so much of her knowledge thank you so much for taking time to share what you know. Thank you very much !!b

You should post pictures of the skin problem somewhere on the screen to help us understand it better.

I want to rewatch this a hundred times! There's so much helpful and interesting information in this video, I'll definitely be coming back to it.

Dr. Dray, I've come to realize that adequate sun protection really requires a lifestyle change. A lot of it I can comply with like reapplying sunscreen. But there's no way that I'm going to wear upf clothes, it is just too dang hot nowadays in this Texas heat!! Kudos to you for being able to do it! It takes dedication I'll tell you what!

Dr Dray, I am not sure how often you check comments on these older videos, but this one has tipped the balance and made me get an appointment with a derm. I am generally "pretty good" about sunscreen use on my face, but have not been very attentive to other areas of my body. I have lots of spots on my back which I haven't had looked at for a while, and a few on my face. I will be getting them checked out ASAP to make sure they are "sun spots" and not something more serious. You give us so much information; your channel is truly a goldmine. BTW, my teenage daughter has the light spots caused by yeast; or at least that is what the doctor diagnosed them as; I have a derm appointment for her in a couple of weeks. My son has the kind of skin that sunscreen is tested on: light as snow and strawberry blond hair. He is a teen and is pretty resistant to aggressive sunscreen. I have been trying to get my kids to watch your videos. I find them life changing.

I really enjoy your honest and very informative videos. I also appreciate that you do not wear make up in the majority of your videos. I cant take anyone serious, giving advice on skin care, that is wearing pound of make up. 'Hiding their problem area/areas' I am in my early forties and have melasma and very dark under eye circles. Your videos have given me hope! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and time. 🙏 HAPPY NEW YEAR!! To a wonderful and happy 2020 for ALL!!!🎉

I am so glad to discover your channel. I am learning so much from your vlogs! Thank you for taking the time to do this. I have so much skin problems for decades and finally working with an allergist and have appointment with a dermatologist. I am binge watching your videos!
  • Thanks for another awesome and helpful video Andrea!! I can't express enough gratitude for the improvement in my skin, and it's only going to get better! Much love 💓
  • @Daria-dg5el
Your videos are extremely helpful!! I am so happy that your channel has been developing and subscriptions increasing, because you are providing invaluable information. You are doing a great job. Keep it up!
  • @LisaMichele
I'm 35 and I have two spots of hyperpigmentation and a LOT more freckles on my left (driving, as you say) side of my face, and one white spot on my left forearm. I've always thought it was from driving. I've put 200,000 miles on cars over the years and no doubt that adds up to a lot of sun exposure. Thanks to your videos I have added sunscreen to my daily routine in the past few months of watching you. I wish I had found you sooner! Thanks for preaching the sunscreen gospel, you are making a positive impact on many lives!
  • @luckydogsmom577
This video came at a great time. I've been watching you and have stocked up on sunscreens, better late then never. My dark spots on my arms have seen bothering me and I've noticed they great darker in the sun (before I caked on the sunscreen). I came across this video and will start with over the counter creams.
  • @lumay1966
I love your Friday Q&A videos! I hope that you have a great weekend!
  • @carolynhung5156
Love how educational your videos are. Can you do one on how to treat sagging skin? Other than the usual sunscreen/antioxidant over-the-counter skin care, what do you think of e.g. RF/HIFU/Ulthera/Thermage/newer treatments?
  • This was a very helpful video. I know you've done extensive videos on moisturizing and dry skin, but I'm wondering if you could do a video specifically targeting dehydrated skin. As someone who's on a lifetime medication that exacerbates dehydration systemically (at least for now....new trials of a revised medication are underway!), I have trouble with this. I follow recommendations of moisturizing and use good proven methods, but it almost feels like nothing penetrates and just sits on top. I see dry vs dehydrated a lot but then only dryness is addressed. I live in humid Florida so I can imagine this would be helpful for the desert-based crowd as well.
  • @maricrisr.
Perfect. I need a break and your video always relaxes me & educational to boot.
  • @franciss105
That Rhoto skin aqua sunscreen you recommended for oily skin is a total game changer for me! I am so obsessed with it that I've had purchased 20 of it just to make sure lol. Thank you so much Dr. Dray!
  • @WiseFamin
Thanks for another great Q&A! You've given me a lot to talk about with my dermatologist during my next visit. I'm finding that niacinamide, kojic acid, and licorice are lightening my hyperpigmentation quite a bit. Maybe I can add one more treatment to eliminate it completely! But the UVA protection plus iron oxides is not to be underestimated! I may be imagining it, but it seems that my hyperpigmentation fades faster now I've doubled up my sun protection (reapplying sunscreen plus using UPF clothing) on my ride home. I may look like a dork, but it's an investment! I have you to thank for that!
  • @annMarieL11
I have to comment this..I used a really oily body moisturiser today that I had bought last summer (before I found out about your videos) and I used it in order to finish it up! I then sat in my balcony for about 5-10 minutes, and I started getting red patches where the sun mostly hit me, in my legs!!! And then I went in and I read that it had Ficus carica which is fig, along with some other oils!! And I remembered you have said in your videos about figs in the beach!! What those people put in moisturisers!! I am so much more knowledgable about what I buy now, thank you for that dr. Dray🙌😁
