Never get a Wolf Hybrid unless you're prepared for it. I had one when i was 9 years old. He was only a quarter wolf (rest German Shepherd) but he got the size and teeth and such as his grandfather. Very territorial, nothing or no one could come onto the property without mine or my grandfathers approval. He only obeyed me and my grandfather, so they do grow attached to one or two people. Especially was good when i went off exploring alone (we had open lands around in the country and he wasn't ever leased only put up in a pen if we had lots of visitors), he would stick by my side no matter where i went. My grandfather was his alpha and i was like his pup to protect. Those Bone crushing canine teeth she talked about, yes. yes they do have those. He always hunted down deer and we would have deer body parts across the front porch and god the crunch of the bone was weird. Also they run... fast. Try getting knocked over by a giant wolf while you're barely 5 foot and 80 pounds, not fun at all. Pure accident because we loved to race around the lake and i would stop and try to avoid getting hit but one time, yea that hurt but thank god he wasn't running full force (i doubt i could keep up with 30 mph which he ran when we drove away to the store, he really didnt like me leaving.) I miss him. His birthday is coming up June 9, a day before mine. He disappeared one new years day about 7 years ago, we think he went off to hide and die out of an infection (hiding to die is usually the wolf side talking). He was and will always be my favorite thing in this world. Be careful if you want a Wolf hybrid ( i hear of people talking about it even though i know they wouldnt keep it for long based on their pet history), but they can make an awesome companion.
