why are those short videos always better than a fucking one and a half hour of class in university?

Cant believe I get everything clear in only around 6 minutes. This is much helpful than sitting 1 hour in the class with hours of reading textbook the night before. Thank you so much! :)

Thank u so much. I wish I could become a linguist one day, so it's only imperative that I learn the IPA. Can't go far in the community without it.

This is really one of the most concise explanation of a topic I have been trying to understand for 4 years. I just figured it out in 6 min!
  • Absolutely brilliant. I wish my teacher was this clear. Instead, I have to teach myself everything outside of class. But thank you for making this easy to understand and follow video about this! Truly a life saver.

This is what I've learned in university a couple of years ago. I'm totally in love with linguistics but unfortunately after graduation I got an inadequate job that's irrelevant to my strong suit. An work that shows me how weak and hopeless I am. I quit my job a month ago and now doing what brings joy happiness and peace in the soul. Accidentally I see your video today and I'm incredibly happy now I don't know why but I know that I'm rusty for a while and need to regain the lost wisdom. Thank you for inspiring me to greater efforts 😌

Thank you so much for this! I'll have to watch it again because it is a lot of information but you categorize, explain and provide visual aids so well that it's just a matter of remembering for the viewer. Thank you!

This video better summed up what 40 pages and a text only power point from my professor could not. Thank you!

  • Today I was on my first chinese lesson... we begun with pronunciation of course, but just after I saw this video I could understand how to pronunciate correctly CH, SH and ZH. It´s really amazing how science can help us to understand the way people learn.

I have always been interested in linguistics but studied it as a minor component to foreign language study. I am now tutoring ESOL and this video is so helpful and far more user friendly than the dry books I have been referring to.
