Kvaesitso Launcher - How good (or bad) can this Android launcher be?

There are many cool Android launchers/home screens out there. We have previously looked at Stario Launcher, but the world of launchers is far wider than that.

This time we take a look at a launcher called Kvaesitso. Despite its strange naming, it's a pretty cool project. Kvaesitso is a free and open source Android launcher with an emphasis on widgets and a global search, but does it do these things well or is it let down by lacking functionality?
