My having witnessed Barack Obama becoming the first African-American President inspired me, and said to me, "If he can become President, I can become anything I set my mind to." He was awesome!

Miss the days before smartphones and social media. We were much less divided then.
  • Hilary Clinton was so unlikable, that this guy came from nowhere and beat her for the nomination.

How did we go from such a classy, composed, educated, thoughtful well spoken leader to a dementia patient and a belligerent felon. Obama made me feel proud to be an American!

people said he was a political activist and organizer. learning how to make relationships and stuff like that helped him.
  • Steve Croft: Why are you in such a hurry?
American people: No, he's not. He's just right.

He would easily beat both Trump and Biden in 2024 if he were allowed to run again.

He was just a true leader. A god given gift. Since Kennedy we did not have a POTUS so eloquent, smart, witty, well behaved, a decent family man! He embodied, and still embodies all our American values and the Universal values of Man!

It's bittersweet watching old videos of Obama, because I remember how exciting it was when he was elected, yet I'm also reminded of how disappointing his Presidency was in the end.
