My parents didn’t sign my permission slip to go on this Field trip

I actually can't figure out if Watts take on death is calming or terrifying.
  • My grandma lived a long life that ended very ill. She said in her hospital bed that if this was her quality of life she didn’t want it anymore. She refused to eat until she passed. I watched a hundred and five pound woman face death with no fear. I will always be in awe of her courage facing death. Love you Grandma, hope to meet you again some day!
  • Death is truly so beautiful. The moment we truly realize nothing really matters

If death is nothingness then death is not the problem life is the problem

It took the universe 13.7 billion years to create me, to create you.

"Death is The Painful Truth, and Life is the Beautiful Lie." I love this Phrase so much.
  • There HAS to be a reason that we are here. I will be damned if I am only here to pay my bills and die! Everyone is connected, everyone is here for a reason.

What if we are already dead and our living right now is a massive flashback of our lives? Maybe it explains why ten years ago feels like yesterday, but the calendar says it’s a very long time ago? Maybe it explains dejavous? And perhaps explains fate? - because it’s a repeat? Maybe we are already ghosts?
  • This was somehow ... so comforting . “The point of life is here and right now.” - Alan Watts

We never truly die. It’s a reset button. Simulation replayed.
