Super Smash Bros Wii U All Palutena's Guidance Reaction

Fun Fact: They actually made new updated Palutena's Guidance conversations in Smash Ultimate for the characters not in Smash 4 who made it in as part of the Ultimate starting roster. There is a surprising amount of them honestly. Ultimate added conversations for; Bayonetta, Chrom, Cloud, Corrin, Daisy, Dark Samus, Ice Climbers, Incineroar, Inkling, Isabelle, Ken, King K. Rool, Lucas, Mewtwo, Pichu, Piranha Plant, Pokemon Trainer, Richter, Ridley, Roy, Ryu, Simon, Snake, Wolf, and Young Link. In addition to those; Ganondorf, Ike, Link, Mii Gunner, Robin, Sheik, Wario, and Zelda all got new updated conversations. Unfortunately since they were DLC later in the game; Joker, Hero, Banjo & Kazooie, Terry, Byleth, Min-Min, Steve, Sephiroth, Pyra & Mythra, Kazuya, and Sora all missed out on getting conversations and have a generic "No information" conversation shared between them all.

Pit, Palutena, and Viridi (and Dark Pit) are the incarnations from the 3DS game "Kid Icarus: Uprising". Pit and Palutena had only previously existed as pixel sprites, so when Brawl came out, people were surprised to see them with new 3D models, and speculated that a new game might be in the works. Few years later, we get Uprising, and boy is it a fun game. Wish the convos had Hades in a couple of them, he is a treat.

the "Mii" guy who had a lot of forms is actually a Nintendo avatar for the player that first appeared on the Wii. there are 3 styles to choose from for a very basic "create a character" type thing.

So fun fact, a channel called Zelda Universe made their own versions of Palutena’s Guidance, complete with voice acting that sounds just like the original actors. They focus more on mii costumes and dlc characters, but it’s also done like how it would appear in the game There’s also joke ones they made called Hades Misguidance which goes more into parody territory, but they’re still fun to watch

The Snake codec calls for Smash Bros. is also definitely worth a watch, Snake is hilarious.

Zelda doesn't have a multiverse, it has different timelines (without counting the non-canon) games. Nintendo actually released a timeline for it

Shulk is from the Xenoblade series. Not sure if it's exactly y'all's cup of tea but it just ended its story a month ago with the third game's DLC. Could be worth checking out if you want to learn more as it is a person favorite series of mine.

The reason why you feel that Pac-Man is much older than Mario is because you’re thinking of Super Mario, whereas the game references the Donkey Kong arcade game as the start of Mario

Pit and Palutena both originated in the original Kid Icarus on NES, Palutena was that game's "damsel in distress". Then after like two decades, Kid Icarus Uprising came out on 3DS, where Palutena is more of a deuteragonist who leads Pit throughout the game. Uprising is where these funny fourth-wall-breaking personalities came from, Viridi and Dark Pit are also from Uprising! Anyway this was super fun to watch, hope you guys do the Palutena's Guidances from Ultimate aswell!

These conversations are a reference to Kid Icarus Uprising, directed by the same director as Smash, where the characters would pretty frequently talk on the bottom screen while you play. Smash captures the writing style VERY well. It's one of the funniest games I've ever played.

The thumbnail is downright hilarious! Ken is there laughing his butt off, while Bethany is like "What the heck did I just watch?".

Nice idea for a reaction video. I remember being surprised when i found snake codec conversations on youtube before brawl came out, and thinking it was just a fan made parody, i was mindblown to see that it was actually in the game xD Palutena's guidance are also nice.

If you want more background on the Kid Icarus characters here, I'd recommend watching the trailers for Kid Icarus: Uprising, or the Death Battle between Sora and Pit.

Fun Fact: Duck Hunt's Guidance is actually a little different if you're in europe, due to they begin called "Duck Hunt Duo" here in europe the beginning is the same but it also include: "These two might be called Duck Hunt Duo, but in some ways, it's kind of like they're a trio." with Pit asking "you mean it's 3 on 1?!"

So in Smash brothers ultimate, they did more Palitena’s guidance for the new characters introduced there, like Squirtle or Bayonetta, which is quite a lot all things considered. Perhaps enough to do a part two later on?
