Before GTA Online, I'd never think Rockstar would be capable of being this incompetent. Used to be a time they put extreme detail into their games. Now they can't be bothered to do the bare minimum anymore. I feel like I've never seen a company fall futher from grace then I have with Rockstar these last 10 years.

This is honestly disgusting and this is why I don't even bother with them. The reward for all the nonsense you have to do, and the poor testing to make sure it all makes sense... calling it a waste of time is a huge understatement. And if this was actually intentional, not lazy, that is just insidious in the worst way.

Rockstar sucks at making these. It all started with the arena war rank up system, the tuner rank up system was just a tad better and now we have the ‘career’ progress. I agree with all the things you said Ghillie. I’ve been playing since day one and they really treated the OG players this badly. A toddler could have come up with better challenges and rewards 😂

I feel like every update it gets more and more apparent that the devs don't play GTA Online themselves...

im level 925, and I couldnt agree with you more. It bugged me that all my heist progress was gone, even when I had awards for it already in the game under "awards". All elite challenges for doomsday, all casino ones, hell even cayo. As someone whose been on since day one, you hit the nail on the head, I felt shitted on.

About the pistol challenge, I think it is also worth mentioning that the phone hits also have the same problem. One of the bonus objectives that you may get is having to run over the target however, if you hit them with your car and they ragdoll THEN die, you fail the bonus.

When this career progress thing was launched I took one quick look at it, saw the challenges vs. Rewards and saw that most of my progress wasn't even accounted for and I would have to do everything again, and I noped tf out of there in less than 30 seconds. Haven't opened that tab ever since and probably never will. My time and sanity are worth so much more and R* can stick it where the sun don't shine 😊

We really need to bring all these problems to Rockstar's attention

Yeah, what really grinds my gears with the new Career Rewards system is the absolutely lackluster "rewards" for completing them. Each tier should have multiple rewards for each categories Tier Rewards such as path-related clothing like the Diamond Strike Vest (which I still regret missing out on), as well as the Tier 4 Rewards including massive payouts, non-timed discounts for websites, or even permanent buffs for heists like the Casino Heist or Cayo Perico where each tier completed earns you a permanent chance to possibly get Diamonds/Panther Statue for the respective Heists that gets higher with each Tier completed.

That helicopter thing sounds really stupid lol

Rockstar's Job They believe is to waste Your Time. When viewed in that context everything begins to make sense.

7:00 If the bike on the picture here is the one you get, it's actually worse than that I think. You know how there are 2 versions of the Daemon, one that's been in the game since day one, one with more customization added with the Bikers DLC. Based on the Lost logos on the seat of the bike on the picture, it looks like the former. You know, the version that spawns on the street sometimes.

The Bikers tier 4 could have the Lost variant of the Gang Burrito (which is blacklisted for some reason) if they didn't want to put the lost slamvan.

yeah, pistol only challenges aren't worth the trouble for doing... I agree that on the tier 4 rewards should've been 500k or a million, along with an actuallly rare car (Lost Slamvan, Spacedocker, etc) that would motivate me to actually try (even though I'm solo)

At this point, I just get more enjoyment watching videos of Ghillie, GTAmen, Broughy, etc. playing the game more than I like playing the game myself. I just don’t have the patience for this bullsh*t game these days.
