  • I really respect Johan, but his rationale "he can't do it now" is why Cav was rejected by so many teams, having to basically go around begging for a place. He always delivers, despite all these doubters. What a rider. GOAT.

Cav, the greatest sprinter of all time, no doubt. To beat the best in the world -- guys 20 years younger than him -- at 39 is a testament to his grit, work ethic, and talent. Chapeau!
  • Thanks for putting that into perspective. He beat the father AND the son. WOW.
  • More flat stages to come... this is going to get exciting with the sprint stages and green jersey competition. ❤ Sir Cavendish!
  • Greetings from Sri Lanka. Congratulations Sir Mark Cavendish the greatest sprinter all time. How about a few more wins Sir. Can't believe my eyes watching the finish. 👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Johan has his a** hurting thinking about Vino... bro congratulate the guy. He did a good job. We forget the 1st stage where the whole team was babysitting Cav for 150km...

The great Peter Sagan came and went during Mark's (ongoing) career. Astounding.

I find Johan’s insights particularly interesting. He is able to identify significant details in race tactics or strategy that others don’t appreciate or understand. He is the first to point out Mark Cavendish’s chain consistently popping off at the finish. I just saw a really good slow motion video of that, crazy.

Always remember. Eddy Merckx only had 8 Tour de France.
  • Superb podcast Johan a legend and Jimmy brings it all together, love to hear you both, especially when Sir Mark rode himself into the history books, what a sprinter! Thanks guys
  • @jcmuellner
Maybe Intermarche-Wanty should put Gerben Thijssen on the sprint train till he learns how to win like Biniam Girmay?

Did y'all see that Quickstep rep try to take some credit for Cavs win?? Could y'all imagine the nerve of that guy.... Good for Cav he's not through by any means with this Le Tours stage wins. Great insight as always. 👍🏻🇬🇧💯🚵🏽‍♀️🇨🇵
