I came to watch a show about kursk and, to my surprise, I found a show about stalingrad.

I cant imagine living every second knowing it may be my last on earth. What a mental horror. Never getting to say a final goodbye to those you love. War is a horrible plight on mankind by wicked men.

I wonder what was worse, the horror of the fighting in Stalingrad or surrendering and going to a Soviet prison? Both would be beyond terrifying.
-
Why do modern documentary makers drown out the audio with loud music?
-
Thanks for posting, but the use of Jupiter (from Holst's Planets) really had no place in a documentary of a battle between two forces of evil.
-
Superb !
-
Chuikov,, not Zhukov! How to watch further, when the very start contains such an error?
-
Aren't they talking about Chuikov not Zhukov at the start.
-
Very good and interesting doc. Well done. There's one thing, though. You need to turn up music volume, I can hear and understand narrator in between. 😁
-
Stalingrad was the Nazi's Gettysburg. Like the Confederates, they were far from defeated, but it was all down hill from there.
-
This is another video titled The Battle of Kursk, but Kursk is the least thing talked about in the video. Last time, it was mentioned for about 10 minutes then it became a documentary about D-Day 😅. Get it together Timeline!

Not bad, not very good either. It's a start for people who would like to learn. Ty

The top leaders are not the ones responsible for the armies achievements, it’s the actual men on the ground.
-
Imagine; Knowing every battle strategy, date, location, assault tactic. Massively outnumbering the Germans in men, tanks, aircraft, motorized vehicles. Somehow still losing in military terms of units and resources. Sheesh! Them Germans wuz on another level dawg.
