IMO Switch Sports actually stacks up well compared to Wii Sports. For me, it's the fact that Wii Sports Resort existed with so much good content that made Switch Sports feel incredibly bland

Mario strikers is one my favorite games on switch. I have over 1,300 hours into it! It might not be perfect but the gameplay is top notch so its still a blast with friends

The crash bandicoot on switch were probably the best third party switch ports that were done perfect and Spyro

I agree with you regarding Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, in fact I think it would be near perfect if the graphics were a bit better (though I don't care too much about that) and the game ran better, it's a shame as that does drag it down a bit though I can still enjoy the game all the same and it doesn't change all the good stuff, it just would be better if those issues weren't there. The good thing is though Game Freak clearly know this and are taking more time to develop the games with Legends Z-A not releasing until sometime next year and Gen 10 not until 2026 which will make this the longest generation since Gen 4 (4 years instead of the traditional 3) which is what needs to be done as the games are getting more ambitious so they need more time! It's very good to see them addressing this issue!

Switch Sports allows you to challenge the previous Mii champions on every single versus sport. This includes Matt on chambara. These are every bit as challenging as they were back in the Wii Sports (Resort) days.

I swear, everyone online seems to hate Switch Sports, but it sold 13 million copies, so I don't know where that disconnect between the digital and physical world is.

Super Mario Party does kinda infuriate me to a degree. It was advertised as a return to form, but in reality it wasn't. Besides the lack of content, the economy and mechanics are so unbalanced that it makes winning feel so cheap and meaningless. I'm someone who grew up with the series, and Super Mario Party was such a huge disappointment for me. Not to mention, I HATED how there was no option for Pro Controller support and the game could only be played with a single Joy-Con.
