Few political observers predicted Kim Jong-un’s daughter Ju-ae would be his likely successor when she made her first public appearance in November 2022. At the time, the elder Kim’s sister Yo-jong appeared to be a more likely heir apparent. But more than a year later, Ju-ae has become a constant presence at large-scale events, appearing at everything from missile launches to military parades. Her growing profile has forced the question: is Kim Ju-ae next in line to rule North Korea and become the reclusive state’s first female leader?

I have a feeling things might not end up too well for the little girl. Hopefully there isn't a horrible power struggle between her and her aunt.

South Korea: invites Kim Yo-jong to Olympics Kim Yo-jong: “They are sloppy animals!”

His sister is giving that Azula vibes of the Fire Nation.

I imagine that he has at least one son that is hidden from the media. Kim Ju-ae being paraded around is probably just a PR thing.

The answer is, his son. The reason we don’t see his son might have something to do with the fact he could be studying abroad like he did when he was young.

His sister is definitely the brains of the whole operation.

Her aunt won't allow that to happen just watch and see according to some kdrama 😂

A lot of analysts thing Yo Jong would be WORSE than Jong Un. She's just as ruthless as her brother, but a lot SMARTER and a lot less self indulgent. John Un loves having absolute power, but he uses a lot of that power just to pamper himself and live a life of luxury at the cost of his nation. And it looks like his daughter may be the same (like her dad, she is clearly chubby and eating very well.) Yo Jong does not seem like that, she wants that power to use it aggressively, and is likely to be far more proactive and less intimidated by the Western powers. To paraphrase what Julius Caesar said about Cassius "She has a mean and hungry look, I do not trust her."

It's sad how this kid is being taught to be a cruel and heartless leader She may seem like an innocent child right now, but if she is to be the next leader, she will be raised to be like the rest of her family before her

I assume he is aiming to achieve several things parading her around. Public acceptance, as he personally has her accompany him. If she is not training her to be THE leader, then to promotionally train her to be like her aunt to one of her brothers.

This is Fire Lord Ozai and Azula in real life.
  • @pikapi4455
Nah.. he's probably gonna pass it to his son, his daughter will just become his son's right hand, just like his sister
  • @TennessseTimmy
Its adorable that he brings his daughter to work 😅 Yet he is a infamous, ruthless and evil leader.

Kim has a Son, in fact he was unknown mean he can do anything without world noticing. Like he can go to school in US or attend University in Europe or even in South Korea. Probably he was using Chinese Pasport to go abroad. When the time come he will return as a new ruler of North Korean Republic. Or if this was just my imagination then the most realistic way to succeed North Korean was to integrated it with China Republic
  • Real life Azula! Now we wait for Zuko to return from his exile to Disneyland.

I firmly believe this is not something north korea think deeply, kim just say " its my family so they rule " 😂😂

At this point in time, she appears to be a sweet, innocent child. But again, most evil people in the world were once sweet, innocent children. Including her own dad (and aunt, I guess). Manufactured evil.

North Korea will never let a woman be the leader it doesnt matter how smart a woman is. Kim is the supreme leader, his sister is smart but she will never be the King, the highest she can go and do is be part of the governments parliament like she is doing right now only. Samething goes to Kim's childrens, his daughter(s) can be part of the governments parliament but only a son will become the King and runs the country, no a woman will be the Supreme leader to run the country in a communist country. Even if Kim Jon Un died, they will never let his sister become the King, this is how communist country do. Kim never shows or reviews his son(s) in public, it's a secret to public so that Kim son(s) can attend college and university over sea without anyone notice before becoming the next King. What make people think that any communist country going to let a woman run their country?

Feels like this is all ruse, and the real successor will turn out to be his son whom is also his eldest child
