We have our own cryptid in southern Kentucky. Hes known as methman. He is frequently seen around dollar stores asking for change or scurrying around abandoned cars near Kmart looking for catalytic converters. You can lure him out with mountain dew, or chase him off with a flashlight that has sharpie blue colored tape over the light and flashing it off and on quickly. Hes very fidgety when confronted, or extremely angry. Proceed with caution.

I like to think that somewhere in a random lake in America there’s some kind of plesiosaurus looking cryptid feeling self conscious because Wendigoon thinks its existence is stupid and unoriginal
  • I unironically love that this tier list is Wendigoon abandoning the iceberg to cover every single cryptid and then getting mad that his list is redundant.
  • @Tomtainius
Can’t wait for Wendigoon to complete his transformation at the end of this series and place himself right at the top of the list.

I love how jaded you’re getting to this list, you’ll do a great narrative and describe it like it’s this cool thing, then just, this is dumb and I hate it, lol

As much as I’d love to order merch, the company that’s being used to fulfill orders is charging individual shipping for every single item. It’s $36 in shipping for 3 shirts and 2 hats. I can’t afford that much more in shipping. They’re taking money off the back end and it’s undoubtedly lost you a lot of sales. Not because your merch isn’t worth it, but because we simply can’t afford it.

The fact that he initially wanted to get this done by Christmas last year is freaking hilarious to me

Who knew the cryptid iceberg would make wendigoon start to become a cryptid himself

21:12 On the topic of every town having a lake monster, I live in Mooresville, North Carolina and we have a huge man made lake near here called Lake Norman. There are stories here of a lake monster that lives there that is described either as a giant, man-sized catfish or a giant alligator, but the best part is that he's called "Normie"
  • What started as the cryptid iceberg now slowly devolved into wendigoon ranting about bad cryptids while teaching the audience how to actually write a scary cryptid. I'm gonna take notes.

"I don't know what kind of flashbacks you teacher's pets are getting out of fear of seeing the letter B..." He wasn't kidding in the title saying he's becoming violent

So just so we're clear on the rules: Possibly copycat dinosaur in a river = unoriginal - F tier Smelly man in the woods - B tier

The Australian carpet shark, also known as a wobbegong shark is a common species of carpet shark, in fact the word “wobbegong” means “shaggy beard”, which correlates to the tassel-like barbels around its head! They’re known to lay on the bottom, using their coloration and those barbels to hide then ambush prey! Fun fact: carpet sharks include whale sharks, the largest living shark species, although the largest whale shark would still be smaller than Megalodon, which could grow over sixty feet!

Altie actually predates British-English colonization and was said to have originated from the Lower Muskogee Creek tribe. Perhaps is another example of isolated groups seeing similar creatures. I wish you gave them some more credit :")

I CAN'T BELIEVE HE BROUGHT UP THE HUMAN-FOOTED CATFISH OF LAKE WAUSAU! I didn't know anyone outside of my county knew about it. I've personally seen it with my own eyes during a heavy rain in summer, when I was coming back from a fishing journey. Before I could take a picture, it hopped back into the lake, having had its fill of fresh water. So glad to finally feel recognized. Best cryptid ever.

‘Loch Ness, England’ genuinely made me pause my game and turn around to look at this video. I know you acknowledged it but my god that made me shudder. I expect an apology with tears and ukulele to your Scottish followers, we’ve had a hard enough time as it is with the wonka experience.

8:33 "I don't know what kind of flashbacks you teachers' pets are getting out of fear of seeing the letter B, but B is a good thing, it is on the positive side of the spectrum, grow up" I have been personally attacked—
