this is so well made! from the parts where the camera briefly freezes to show lag to how the characters blur when the camera suddenly moves, it's so spot-on!

This scares me. It's just that feeling of being realistic while obviously fake. It makes me feel like there's gonna be a jump scare when I know it's safe

It's like the OMOCAT's Artwork of OMORI, a mix of anime style with realistic background with a 90's ambience. Seeing this on a video, with movements and voices, is genius. well done! I don't even know how you could do this without a lot of time.

I am reminded of when Cartoon Network use to have the CN city bumpers from 2004. Combonation of 2D on 3D. What I enjoy most is how it captures the group and the feeling of mid-childhood. The group talk like kids, blazing hot summer and the voices feel as though they belong to them.

This seriously encapsulates the feel of Omori, esp the neighborhoods, colors, and art. The colors made the entire thing cohesive for me, if you used bright jarring colors it wouldn't have fit into the environment as well. I have a question, my animation class will start a similar project soon (animating characters in a video background). How did you get Basil's legs to "sit still" (move with the camera)? If that's too difficult to explain, is there a guide I could watch because I don't know how I would find it? I understand if it's too much effort to find a guide or explain ofc, obviously you don't owe anything to me xD thanks

OMG!! The voices fit the characters perfectly! The camera shaking, the shadows, the mix of medium, everything just goes well together. The moment I heard Sunny speak, I was filled with joy. I was like "OMG, he speaks!! So cute!"
