I said it before and I am going to say this once again that blender community have so many YouTubers who make brilliant tutorials but you and Derek Elliott are so fun to watch & you both provide so much information which usually people skip. Such high quality tutorials definitely help people like us. :)
  • @DerekElliott
Great breakdown! I usually use at least 3 lights but the one you show is always what I start with and by far the most exciting! Looking forward to seeing the next videos in the series.
  • @MelodickaBros
Absolutely beautiful. Can't wait for the rest of the series!
  • Now please, tell me something you don't know? Your tutorials are amazing and explained to the highest degree without anything that could or should be missing. You are a teacher that is beyond reproach to the utmost level. I was a founding member of a graphics software company called Corel, director of Product Development, you my friend, I would have hired in a drop of the bucket. Your knowledge of Blender is outstanding and second to none. Every time I crack open the tutorials on Blender and I see that you have posted a fresh one, I watch in amazement at how well you've learned the infinite details of this product with masterful understanding. You have become the professor on Blender. I and others thank you so much...

You can't imagine how helpful this was. The mindset with this inside, outside trick, to reveal each part of an object, litteraly one of the best content about creativity i've seen so far.

You got me hooked right from the title sequence, as always your passion and empathy towards sharing what could be the best kept secrets is commendable, heartfelt gratitude :)

Thanks for the video! I love experimenting with lighting tend to do everything based on whether it feels good to look at. I never really thought about why I prefer area lights over point lights but the discussion about shadowing helped to clear that up. They are so versatile. 💡 Now you've got me wanting to play with lights, but I'm way behind schedule for other projects. Such a bad influence. 😉😂
