That's definitely one of those "can't believe I'm learning this for free" kind of tutorials šŸ”„
  • @blenderguru
Outstanding tutorial. I love how you constantly show problems then the magical setting that solves it. I tried making an explosion tutorial in 2020 and got 6 weeks deep before hitting two critical bugs that stopped me finishing it (and they're still not fixed!). Glad to see someone stepped up to deliver a thorough mantaflow tutorial to bring more people to the simulation side of Blender.
  • @BrownHuman
After years and years of people explaining Simulation in Blender. This Sir, is probably the most intuitive and beginner friendly tutorial of them all. You not only make people understand in the easiest way possible but also inspire the heck outta me to bake some nice fresh simulations. Thanks again Polyfjord.

  • @DenimPirate
By far the most impressive tutorials on the platform. Never stop going for quality over quantity. It's so refreshing <3
  • @coleorloff
You're easily making some of the highest-quality Blender tutorials out there. Absolutely awesome.
  • @humandarion
I just need to stop for a second 5 minutes into the video to drop this comment.... this has been an incredibly well-explained tutorial on fire sims. If you haven't already I would love to see you chat about water sims. Keep up this masterful work. Update: I finished the tutorial, not do I understand fire sims, but the compositor . . . quality tutorial! Update #2: end montage is brilliant

After months and years of trying to figure out how to make high resolution fluid simulation without cranking up the resolution slider, finally found it! Thanks a lot for investing such great deal of efforts in these tutorials
  • I have been learning Blender for a little more than a year and have done so with the benefit of you and some of the seasoned professionals (who I note have already started to comment below). This tutorial is absolutely sensational. I love your enthusiasm, your skill and ease of communication, not to mention what is a fabulous result. Thank you so very much.

Man Poly, it's like you're in my head. I started watching your videos a couple months ago when i first started to learn blender. I would go through your videos easily finding everything i needed, and in my most recent project i want smoke but there really arent any good tutorials on it (not like this one). Your tutorials are amazing, keep up the good work!
  • @ArtVandelayInc
Hot damn! Man you're killing it lately. Such a quality content you create, incredible. I can imagine that this is a lot of work. Your passion is something to admire. Hats off to you! 10/10

During the ā€œNo smoke without fireā€ introduction, I could very quickly see this as being used to animate sea life, spirit orbs, fire - duh - and many other things for games or animations. Getting my first real good computer ever this coming week, so I will be saving this tutorial as I can now FINALLY truly utilize Unreal Engine 5, Blender and Cinema 4D to their fullest potential. So excited, thank you, Polyfjord!
  • @okonvick
Oh my god. I have been using blender for over 5 years, but never heard about the possibility to composite without re-rendering. That's absolutely fantastic. Thank you!
  • @totochandelier
sometimes you feel like you need to take a Blender break. Other times you feel like you're going to come back to it. You just created this moment for me.
  • @ollesimba
Not only was the whole tutorial amazing but that exr compositing trick is gonna save me a bunch of time. Thank you from Sweden!
  • This is such a master class! Thank you! It is a true masterpiece!
  • @ZeusCreates
I live for the advanced part of every video! Always such a joy to watch them! And the whole explanation was so nice too. Simulation stuff is not the easiest thing to understand but damn, you made it pretty easy and fun!
