The way I understood it, the Realm of Light and the Realm of Darkness were always separate areas. The Realm of Darkness is one big interconnected world, and it's supposed to be the polar opposite of the Realm of Light. As such, the Realm of Light before the War was one big interconnected world the same way the Realm of Darkness is, and the War ultimately shattered just the Realm of Light into the small pieces we see throughout the series.

Honestly these kind of videos in particular (and generally the lore exploration) is what keeps my interest for the KH saga still alive. I'm ready to enjoy some more M E A T.

What do you think about the possibility of The Worlds being shattered BEFORE the Keyblade War in X and the projections being required to keep up the facade that the greater world is still connected? MoM seems to imply that there have been other Keyblade Wars before (possibly the one where the X Blade was shattered) maybe the worlds were actually shattered during one of those wars.

I really appreciate these videos you make. I absolutely LOVED the theories you made before and the way you speak and perform throughout these videos. It kinda feels halfway between listening to a kid's story and going through a classroom lesson, but in the best way possible, like how the KH franchise is the best possible fusion of Disney and final fantasy. These lore videos feel like a natural extension for you and a fitting one as well. If ANYONE can provide an explanation for the series that's easy to digest without one having to go through the entire series in release date order again, it's you. I hope you don't stop making theory videos, though. Hope these videos pull in more subscribers for you as you definitely deserve it.
  • I swear, you're literally the smartest Kingdom Hearts content creator. Your grasp on the work by acknowledging Nomura's appeal for the literal, while sustaining his conductive mysteries, is stimulating and memorable!!! I love your theories so much and happy to see your video essays!

So glad to see more of this!! I’ve always loved your editing and you’ve outdone yourself with this! I’m ready for some ML lore-!
  • I've been so focused on theorizing about Yozora/Verum Rex/KH4 that I've neglected this side of KH, so this is really awesome. I look forward to the other videos.
  • It's been a while since I've watched your videos, so I had forgotten just how much work goes into making them. They're incredibly well edited, I can't imagine how much effort it takes to put them together, visuals or script. I'm looking forward to seeing this full series, and honestly the refressher is really helpful.

Glad to see you back after so long. you make the highest quality videos of any KH youtuber. I could only hope to make something half as good.
  • I have to ask: are you properly caffeinated? If not, the community has some Kingdom Hearts Dark Roast for you to solve that.
  • Amazing presentation as a former union cross veteran i really enjoyed this piece and appreciate the work you have put into it, I miss the game and enjoyed the nostalgic feelings brought up by this wonderful presentation your fine details with the audio were impressive and perfectly executed, thank you very much for this excellent presentation and I look forward to viewing more of your great work in the future, sincerely Galgos CROSS of the Cerburus Legion

I do appreciate you making use of the many different pronunciations for X to confuse us. Nomura would be proud.
  • @96ace96
God damn, but X is such an increadibly lore dense game, the fact that its a mobile title is practically a crime.
  • @sagacious03
Excellent analysis video! The choices of visuals & audio are also very nice! Thanks so much for uploading!

I've always wondered why is "common knowledge" that the Keyblade War was fight over Kingdom Hearts and the X-Blade (resulting in both being lost "forever") and we didn't see any of this referenced in the war we get in the game. Aside from Gula (and only Gula) trying to summon Kingdom Hearts. Could be that this "War over Kingdom Hearts where the X-Blade was shattered" is another war and not the one we see in Union Cross?

was so pleasantly surprised how gorgeously edited this video was! great job!!

this was pretty interesting yet one thing that I find conflicting with UX lore and the modern KH titles is that in UX the worlds used to be one and connected to each other, yet in KH1 (granted this is a bit obscure due to translation errors) the worlds are considered their own universes closed off from each other and that's why you don't have other characters from different worlds crossing over to other worlds, I'll use the Lilo and Stitch spaceship world thing from BBS as an example. The ship is traveling through space but it isn't the space between worlds (universes), it is traveling across the same world (universe) that it is in since it cannot break the confines of that world without a Keyblade, Corridors of Darkness, Light Portals, Gummiship, and sometimes just characters having a strong enough will (Beast from KH1 in Hollow Bastion). Though I think this probably could be explained as the worlds used to be apart of the same ethereal plain that people could travel across normally but the worlds (universes) are now isolated and closed off after the war.
  • Your efforts are very in depth and thorough. Though I consider myself quite knowledgeable about the lore of this series, thus far you've impress me by managing to explain everything so clearly and thoroughly that even I learned some new things that I hadn't picked up before. Well done! Well done indeed. Your efforts are much appreciated.
