Age of Calamity Zelink LOVE Analysis

The side quests actually say a lot about Zelink btw. (I know how old this video is but still) there are two quests where “Terrako”makes Zelda fruit cake and gave her a bouquet of flowers. Both times she and “Terrako” went on a walk after- both summaries describe the date as being more romantic (which is weird given that Terrako is her own creation… unless you remember that Link is her guard and is with her almost constantly… so you realize that Link is the one going on those romantic walks with her). One quest is called “To Brighten Her Day” and “Made with Love”. And I for one strongly doubt that Terrako can cook because that’s Link’s thing. Link learns how to make fruit cakes too in the quests. And honestly?? The fact that Link gathered the materials for Terrako to give to Zelda is kinda uhh well it implies to me that Terrako is basically the messenger of his affections. And that’s sweet as hell.

Age of Calamity is what made me start shipping Zelink. The way she looks to Link all the time in the cutscenes just look like glances of love and not just a "protect me" glance, if that makes any sense

Revali actually does smile in BotW; it's in the final cutscene (the group photo) of the Champions' ballad, he's seen with a slight smile right as Mipha is taking deep breaths to calm down. So everything in this game is most definitely valid and canon. 😆👌

lol, a fun fact is that the Latin translation of breath of the wild says that Zelda didnt knew who her knight would be and she was anxious and scared cause she wanted to meet him and in english it looks like she already knew who Link was by the way she calls him in the journal: "HIM"

Tbh u don’t need a kiss or sth extremely romantic to realise they love each other. It’s literally what the entire plot is based on. There is no link without zelda and vice versa. They protect each other how they can, in botw zelda’s power literally awakened because she wanted to protect link (not for entire hyrule including friends and father.. but for link). Link awakens to zelda’s voice.. zelda fought for 100 years because she firmly believed link will come back and save hyrule.. not to mention the clear fact that link would do anything for zelda, and if it was only for duty he wouldn’t be there for zelda emotionally..yet he is. And in age of calamity, even if we don’t know if actually canon or not, link is chosen by the sword when he tries to save zelda. What they have is even more than love, they are connected.. and that’s why i ship them so much.

As the progress of the Zelink relationship differs from Breath of the Wild, the elements come to evolve towards the same goal. One thing noteworthy about Link reaching his hand towards Zelda when the Shadow champions were about to kill her, and also Zelda awakening her powers to save him, I feel it has a connection towards the everlasting reincarnation cycle that will always bond these two. If one is in danger, they will always will themselves to save each other. I thought about Link obtaining the Master Sword at a younger age in BOTW than AOC, and I thought of a theory explaining that: The way that Astor controlled those dark powers seemed to have been something he was able to do for a long time now. At the beginning at AOC, we see Terrako going through time by using a portal, but as he does that, a great chunk of malice pursues him as well. I feel like some of this malice maybe have ended back in time, but in a sooner time period than Terrako’s. It would explain why the Terrako of the AOC timeline is possessed by Ganon. In the movie THOR: RAGNAROK, Loki and Thor travels through a portal with Hela pursuing them. Loki is expelled from that portal by Hela, than a few instants later, Thor as well. While they both landed on the same planet, Loki appeared to have been there for weeks, while Thor had just arrived. So the same could have happened to the malice that went back in time; a chunk of it could have interfered at a sooner period, interfering with the moment that Link was supposed to get the Master Sword in his teen years.

This video is amazing! At 11:12 it reminds me of what was in Zelda's diary, Link is kinda quiet and doesn't say about himself, maybe he feel something but his personality makes him not show that much (sorry for my English :P)
