    Lizardmen make me cry. Love the aesthetic, basically no real mechanics. I do think Oxyotle is the best lord in the game for learning how to play skirmish style.

    As someone who used to play tabletop WH, it's crazy to think that Skaven aren't balanced out by the randomness to their mechanics/roster/lore that is present in the army books. Oh, your doomclaw went bonkers and wheeled into your clan rats because you rolled a 1? Woops... Without the quirky (but somehow fun and lore appropriate) balancing measures, they are just OP.

    Snitkch and throt have extremely powerful faction mechanics as well, I don't know why queek is my favorite but he is.

    While boring, I will say the ABSENCE of a mechanic makes Daniel a little bit better, which is of course the lack of his need to appease the various gods to field an army of their units. He can use whatever he wants, and often gets bonuses just for free. It feels like the gods are courting you and I think that’s a lot of fun, and I hope that’s how they improve on the faction and justify excluding Belakor from it.

    No way, ogres are way worse than dark elves and vampires. Very different list than I expected

    Slaanesh is one of the most inventive race. It's the only race who can win the game using mostly a completely different way to win than all the other races. This is Total War, and yet, Slaanesh has the extreme luxury of being the only race which can win without waging much war. It's all about the agents invasion and vassalizing. At least it works awesomely in lower difficulties. Maybe it's not the same feeling at all in harder difficulties, and that would explain the rating here. In any case, with how I play, it works perfecly and is super unique, corrupting half the map instead of conquering it like all the others is super original and so extatic.

    Im super new to RTS games and Warhammer on top and so far Im super impressed by the amount of races and the unique ideas with most of them. Customizing your Daemon based on which gods you earn favors with, destroying and pillaging and then leaving the ruins to dust with Skarbrand or becoming the Oppenheimer of Warhammer with the Skaven are such fun and original things that even if any of the races becomes my least favorite or personally not the best, I'll find a way to enjoy them all.

    Brettonia is hard to get the ball rolling but once you get the economy going and unlock grail knights nothing can stop you especially with the new update. Doing a louen campaign atm and full stack of grail guardians and hippogriph knights destroy multiple stacks of anything.

    Dark Elves lower than Dwarves or Empire is kinda crazy to me ngl Also both Dwarfs and Empire being top 10 is crazy

    Dark elves is one of the strongest race in the campaign you can have unlimited money and so many armies

    CATHAY turn 50-70 very hard and you have entire Cathay under you and can spam armies because you can just keep them in the great bastion with its 75% upkeep reduction bonus. They are way better then the Empire or Kislev. Terracotta sentinels are one of the most cost efficient large units loosing pretty much only too arachnarok spiders not even speaking about celestial crossbows which are one of the best ranged units in the game. and they have good garrisons which empire does not, nor kislev. Great bastion is super op mechanic for leveling your charachters in turn 100 you can have at least 6 lvl 50 lords. And for the Emperors grace Nurgle should be the last spot.

    Daniel at 19 seems extremely lenient, considering how slowly he gains access to those demon units and what little mechanics they provide. He essentially carries the campaign for the first dozen turns or so.

    I always wanted a strong Norscan faction. I know it is not (even close) the same, but Archaon to me has a Norscan feel to it. He is what Norsca would be it they were over powered.

    Rev crystal bastilodons alone make lizardmen top 5. You need at least 2 in every army they are just so essential and so powerful. Lord Kroak's Deliverance of Itza III is also one of my favourite spells in the game. In a campaign as Kroq-Gar I was hiring level 49 heroes by the end of the game and my cap was in the 30s. Super powerful and fun armies. Is their Geomantic web a boring mechanic? Absolutely! But stomping opponents to death with giant dinosaurs just scratches that primitive itch in my brain.

    That’s actually crazy to me that you have the vampire counts at 21…they have to be top 3 for me, by far…
  • The beastman are literly the strongest faction in game, by a mile and a half, 1: they get stronger with more battles, so harder difficulty jsut buffs them 2. They can win the game and burn half the world by turn 60 3. There encampments are hidden making them near impossible to destroy
