Upma is a very healthy dish with each serving containing a healthy mixture of carbohydrates, Fibre, fat, proteins, and a range of minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, calcium and iron. It's a thick porridge made with dry roasted semolina or coarse rice flour . it originates from Southern part of India like Kerela, Tamilnadu , Andhra pradesh etc etc
