I usually have good success opening up the hand by first getting the thumb out and then flexing the wrist. Awesome video. Love your channel, you've given me great additional ideas and tips to help my patients as well.

Thank you so much. I wish I had had this video a year ago when I had my stroke, but so happy to have it now.I have just received my second round of Botox injections, and my fingers are finally not in a clenched fist. I’m still not able to really use them at all, but I hope with time that will change. Can you do a video on supination? I can do inactive supination but I can’t make it happen on its own even with the Botox in those areas. I appreciate you and all your great videos

This video helped me to breakdown clinched feast. I am able to open and close all fingers except my ring finger. Doc please help

The way I found to unclinch my fist was tto unclinch my pinky finger first , then the rest were able to follow

Respected Elyse madam,I'm 69.After having 2tia followed by a cva my left side paralyzed and due to spasticity and weakness my left hand elbow,wrist and fingers are not working properly. Please send me some videos regarding this. Thanks. The span of the stroke is going to be 1 year and 2months .
