The new models are nice, just a shame that they didn't update the animations along with them.

they really could have used this opportunity to redo the animations, especially given how outdated they are by this point

3:55 The problem that I have with CS2's weapon sounds is especially apparent with the MP9. It can't make up its mind on how fast it wants to fire. Compare it to the MP7 and you'll notice that it has a constant cadence to its firing sound, unlike the spastic and unpredictable firing sound of the MP9.

New CS Players: wow, this game has satisfying animations and crunchy sounds. CSGO Players: damn it, graphic update with vanilla csgo..

At least FAMAS's reload is fixed. It no longer has peeking shoulder during reload.

I don't mind the animations, the biggest gripes are the one where they clearly reach back in and out offscreen for the mag, most notably the Bizon and Galil, they should just replicate MW:19's/MWII's way of just dropping the mag with a slight tug at the mag release.

This sounds weird but a small part of me deep down still ain't used to the new gun sounds, even though it's been years since that update.

some of the guns lack animation for the reciprocating charging handles like the tec9 and mac10, some of the cocking animation for the UMP45, MP5SD, and G3 lack the HK slap(other than the mp5) and the charging handle doesn't even hold on that small lip for that slap for the mp5 for some reason it just resets to the standard loading animation heck on the sniper rifles they just pull the bolt like its a straight pull and it only shows them holding on the ball during a reload, the automatic firing on some guns be it burst or full shows the finger just pushing the trigger to the rhythm of the firing rate as if it was actually just semi auto and we are actually Jerry Miculek with our fast automatic fingers, and most of all the pistols don't hold at the rear when the chamber is emptied and instead again we reset the loading animations, you know for essentially a sequel to the game like overwatch 2 it kinda lacks some polishing

M4A4 selector safe, m4a1s trigger clipping when inspecting gun, bolt ssg 08 still clipping, scar 20 not even fixed yet.

We're living in a timeline that even Bethesda has better animations than Valve.
