One of the naruto fillers involved them fighting their doppelgangers. So Naruto fought himself, as did Shikamaru, Choji and others. They were perfectly matched. How did they end up winning? They realised they had to "become stronger" and just beat themselves. It worked.

All I could think of during this was the Midoriya vs Shigaraki fight that recently happened in s6 😅 except BOTH of them were acting like this, they were absolutely BUSTED on both sides, bro even had AFO like "okay bruh dang, fall back you did that, now go and recover" "but destruction tho" all the while shattered limbs deku out here somehow flying around with mouth beams due to "determination" 🤔🧐😐
