The Most Charming Cottage / House Design With A Wrap-Around Porch & An Attic

As you get older, I think I would prefer the master bedroom to be on the first floor and second floor as the guest bedrooms or for grand children, etc. The kitchen is lovely. The living room is lovely, and the bathrooms are well designed. The location of the washer and dryer is not great. I prefer a laundry room with a sink, place to fold clothes or hang them up and also used as a storage for your vacuum cleaner and cleaning items. Also, I did like the entrance to the front door on the side where you could hang your clothes or put your shoes on or stored them. Thanks.

This would be perfection, if it weren't for the laundry area.No storage shelves or anything it's like trying to do laundry in a hallway .Love everything else!

Love how their separation of space and privacy Kitchen from Living Room and rest of the house beautiful layout.

Tastefully done, you left no detail to spare, this has to be your best design ever! The master bedroom being upstairs guarantees privacy, yet it connects with the rest of the house in that balcony overlooking the living room, especially putting in line the mischievous siblings 😂. I could build this and live in forever! Thank you for your thoughts in putting this together!

The "only" thing I would add to this is having the wrap-around porch to be enclosed as a 3 season room since I live in the Chicago area, it would be my dream home.

This is a show stopper that ticks all my boxes. The layout maximizes space and allows for those touches I like to see (e.g., entry storage, ensuite, designated kitchen area and dining area, etc). It is a warm colour scheme due to the nice wood accents. I would consider modest skylights in the master closet and ensuite. I love the windows and the triangular shelving under roof and stair lines. Very nice job. I can move in this weekend.

Its so cute, like a doll house, for little people with no belongings and no life. Where do you keep the furnace, hot water heater, broom closet, laundry supplies, paper products, pantry items, toys, holiday decor, cars?

Finally a builder put 2 bathrooms in love it this house is gorgeous the only thing I would do is to have the porch all away around the house other than that everything I love

More shelves in the kitchen please. The washer/dryer having their own little nook is fine and all, but where to store your laundry essentials? And OMC, the top floor is dedicated to the master suite 👏👏👏👏 the house is a thumbs up 👍 from me and my cats give it all paws up 🐾🐾 🐾🐾 🐾🐾 I can just hear them running up and down the stairs!
