  • I find your voice masculine, it just sounds quite youthful, and enthusiastic. I wouldn't say it either sounds female or very camp
  • Sam, your voice sounds like literally any random guy anywhere. Don't sweat it.
  • I am a cis man, but I face some of these same issues because of my voice, my posture etc. Even I felt confused about possibly having a genetic issue or something (genetic test came normal XY though, thankfully). The way society treats people who do not fit into regular rectangular boxes can be painful sometimes, I have been called "madam" many times even though I (believe that I) look like a normal guy. The phone is even worse, for obvious reasons, I had service denied because they "weren't convinced" they were talking to me, but to a woman instead, even though I made several requests to have on file that my voice is high and that I might sound a bit like a woman 😟 It took me 40 years to make peace with the fact that, no matter what I do, people will judge and believe they "know better" even when they're wrong. I am very glad to hear you're in peace with yourself as well 💖

FINALLY a video about being trans that doesn't make me doubt myself I have a lot of issues with my FtM identity, but you actually made me feel confident in it, thanks man, really appreciate it 💚
  • @embott1
Trans dude friends wear shorts a lot. That seems to really help him feel like a guy. I love your voice.
  • @dax3629
Be as swift as a coursing river
  • If you want to achieve a more „masculine“ body shape, train shoulders and upper body. Pull-ups and push-ups are excellent exercises for that. Also lockdown-friendly as you can easily do it at home.
  • Im hitting my 5th month on t and its always been hard to pass and I’m finally being called sir and I’m like freaking out about it like super geeking and no one should care about how people present themselves society should just respect any or everyone THE WORLD IS CHANGING!!!
  • Who wants stereo-types when you can meet unique people out there with their own stories? Diversity is such a good and cool thing 🍀
  • If you want to make your hips look slimmer, look for pants that are tight at the calves and loose on the thighs. Really does wonders
  • My voice is super high and its usually the thing that outs me as not being a cis guy. Lots of people have suggested I do voice training. But ultimately I decided I don't want to have to consciously change myself in order to fit. The whole reason behind my transition is to be the true me. So to put on a voice that isn't natural to me seems counterproductive. But I completely get why it's important for many people to "pass" and if that works for them that's great.
  • As a trans guy some tips I’ve been told by cis guys and I’m telling you now is you gotta have thick skin sometimes as much as it’s hard to not let people get to you no matter what other cis guys will do that no matter what
  • Omg dude you sound, look, and act just like my son ! You two are twins I love it! I didn’t even realize you were female before, you’re adorable 💕
  • I have a naturally higher voice, and before I transitioned, I always got ma’amed on the phone, now that I’ve transitioned from male to female my higher voice has worked to my advantage. I think that your voice is fine, Sam. Not every man or non binary masculine person has to have a super deep Morgan Freeman voice.
  • "wear a jacket" me, who hasn't left the house without my game theorist hoodie since i got it in may: i am four parallel universes ahead of you
  • @stefan0ni
I’m happy as a gay man being slightly feminine in my mannerisms! Is it amusing to you that having transitioned you sometimes are perceived as a gay guy? 😉
  • @duskzx
As an afab (gender fluid questioning) person, ive always spoke from my chest more and thats just where my natural range is at. And when I'm feeling feminine, I hate that my voice is lower. But other times I try to go deeper with my voice. (I've tried out speaking more feminine and I very rarely like it 😂) So thank you for the tips for my more masc/Andro days!
  • You have that "trying over compensate" right on. I would always do that and still struggle with it today. It makes me pass a whole lot less, when in all reality I already pretty much completely pass but I ruin it when I try too hard. It's really just how you feel.
  • I love what you said about accepting your own traits and not caring about what other people think and that we’re all human with a mixture of stereotypical feminine and masculine traits. I couldn’t agree with you more and think this is true whether you’re male, female, trans, straight, gay or whatever. We’re all unique humans with something positive to offer the world ☺️
