We highly recommend Marvel's Daredevil and The Punisher on Netflix. Jon Bernthal is a fantastic Frank Castle. Hopefully he’s in Daredevil: Born Again (2024). Who is your favorite live-action Punisher and what other fight scene would you like to see us breakdown next?
  • The punisher proves that you can fight with sheer experience without using fancy moves like other characters ie Batman or Daredevil.
  • I always love your guy’s breakdowns. Frank Castle is an absolute monster of a fighter, his brutality is always what makes him one of my favorite characters to see when they fight.

Chad’s lil smile when Logan did a takedown is just so priceless lmao. Compare to Logan’s dead-inside facial expression, Chad be like yeah I do this for a living, any time brother. lolololol

Logan must've really like this ep, I mean REALLY. I can see his eyes lights up when he do the explanation. Really love the awesome work guys
  • I love how explicit you where about the eye gouge. Yeah, mechanically someone can do it and it's efective, but could you? would you want to? It's important to highlight that hurting people has an impact on you and if you're trauma and rage fueled trained killer Frank Castle he could, but a normal person would be shocked and could not do it.
  • Frank castle is proof that running a full tank human build is viable even in the gun meta
  • @sxnthwave
I love how the fighting style is perfect for someone who is both well trained and also extremely brutal/ruthless

Knowing that Castle is trained, the way he stabs the neck and follows through is a military technique and it also means if another assailant surprises him, the knife is usable. The amount of times in movies that they leave the knife in their assailant or throw it down is absurd. I also agree that the number eight is excellent. I do it with a Polish sabre and the angle takes so many people by surprise. It's also great with stick for left handers because you are striking on the open side and there is a longer distance your opponent has to come across their centre line to guard against it. By the time they do so you can flow through or disengage. I know there are some open handed techniques in Kali that perform a slap to ear from essentially a number eight which always fascinated me. I also found it interesting where you asked Chad about ever throwing a punching from number five because there are techniques in close where you essentially pass through a number five position when you whip a punch. As you turn your hips and body into the punch you basically roll your shoulder as you bring the other arm up to cover to give you a little more distance and then you finish the motion of the punch. It allows you to generate a lot of power without telegraphing. So one of the most absurd knife fight scenes that very few people are familiar with is the one from nightshooters. It's two minutes long but the amount of knife work and technique and the level of skill is super impressive. It also has elements of it that I think Chad could shed some really good light on. You guys should break it down. It's super brutal though; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiztYtV0XtY
  • Chad’s evil grin as Logan points out how nice he is to him… spine chilling
  • Love the close ups on Chad everytime Logan is holding a knife and then gets this excited look in his eyes
  • @Cooler_Typ_95
I love how you guys act infront of each other and trust each other. Logan easeiy throws some weapons around and Chad dosn´t even flinch. pros at work. really well done. <3
  • @ryomitsui000
The #8 looks kind of like an armed version of the question-mark kick. You have a very standard looking set up that can go to different spots by small variations in rotation. That's pretty scary...
  • @Hushh27
Please do more daredevil and punisher fight scenes ! This was sick !
  • @chlaco8739
Any and all Punisher fights scenes with Bernthal are amazing.
  • For the last attack Frank does, you can also attack without a weapon. After he get to one knee, you can lift and turn your hips, delivery a knee strike to his face, sorta like a capeoria variation of a roundhouse.
  • @Lalaboy271
I love these breakdowns. They’re so entertaining while being educational
  • @MrJCMG
I have watched this scene so many times. I usually wince at the impailment and the eye gouge. But it never really hit home for me just how terrifying the violence here actually is. As humans we're so fragile. It's so easy to mortally wound someone caught off guard. I realise that if I ever got in a fight, I'd probably die every time. The only thing I have going in my favour is I'm pretty fast. But that wouldn't help me if I got locked in here.
  • @megacrapul
"I would like to know how nice my throw was to chad vs how chad throws me" chad smiles at the camera 🤣🤣🤣 i see what you are trying to do there chad xD good vid guys 😃😃
