ABOUT ME: I'm James Dunne, a runner, sports rehabilitation therapist (similar to physical therapist) and coach based in the UK (Norwich and London).
Since 2007 I've been working with athletes focusing specifically on helping distance runners and triathletes overcome injury and improve performance through developing their individual running technique.
Running biomechanics and physical therapy are real passions of mine. I love to help runners run strong and stay injury free.

Absolutely love your work mate! Running form is such an underrated way to improve all aspects of running. Also if you ever want to analyse someone else's running form I'd be a very willing candidate đ

To be honest, I thought his running form looked really good, but itâs really insightful what you managed to identify. I also wonder if he is clenching his fists too much, and if that is causing stiffness in his running?

Thanks James, helps a lot!
-
Loved it! thx

It seems like the forefoot strike is a tad bit forced with a strong plantar flexion and a tiny overstride. I would relax the foot a bit and let it fall down mostly naturally. Otherwise looks great đ

THANKS SIR PLEASE

The 'FFS' in your notes made me laugh!

My problem is my lower back, it tilt inwards how to fix this ? Thank you đ

#Sir I want to run sub 22 minutes 5k for military recruitment.. My current time is barely 23.30seconds I've tried long run for more than 3months continuously.. Little bit of speed workout.. In between long runs.. Not improving at all.. đ˘ In my 3rd mile I get fatigue, out of breathe and it feels like walking at the end of the race..

I wonder if that is his natural running form⌠I might be wrong, but looks like he is over thinking his running form while recording. Especially the way he hits the ground with his forefoot looks unnatural.
