I had a former music teacher in high school who used to be a police officer in the UK; Fife, Scotland to be precise. His name is Matthew Birch and I had him as my music teacher for a few years. 2 years after I finished high school I discover that he was arrested in 2021 for r*ping several students. What made it worse was that he looked friendly and approachable on the outside which made it easy for him to pick his targets. This had been going on for at least 13 years from 2005 to 2018 and it wasn't until 2019 when an investigation was made (The prosecutor was someone who was in my registration class until she had finished school.) and he was charged for his crimes.

In my opinion, the two most infamous police officers that know off that are not the list are Franz Paul Stangl (1908 - 1971) a notorious Austrian SS police officer in the Death's Head Unit and Roger Caleb Rogerson (1941 - 2024) a Australian NSW detective who is considered to be the most corrupt cop in Australian criminal history.

People like police officers have the ability to fight and defend themselves and others from harm. These individuals can do right and help people. But many will abuse the power given to them to satisfy their personal desires. It’s sad, disappointing, frustrating, and disgusting. I hope one day, society can push out those who commit terrible acts and promote those who are good and do good in society.
