"Amazing Grace" is my favorite new song we are doing. Just singing the words is a beautiful reminder each and every show of the grace we have received and the promise we have to look forward to.

Thank you to everyone who sent in recordings of the final verse!!! We are so excited to feature hundreds of you on the album version of this song, I can't listen to it without tearing up. Don't forget to listen to the Dolby Atmos mixes on Apple Music, Amazon Music, or Tidal if you have the audio set up. It truly is the ultimate experience and you will feel like you are in the recording studio right there with us :)

►LYRICS - Amazing Grace
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind but now I see

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed

Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come
'Twas grace that brought me safe thus far
And grace will lead me home

When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we first begun

We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we first begun

  • I think if all Christians were to sing one song before the Lord to represent all of our love for him, it should be Amazing Grace. 🙏✝️👏
  • @MarciaB12
This brought tears to my eyes. I was supposed to be a musician but life took a terrible turn. At least I can listen.
  • @paulmann9154
Hello from Gloucester, England. What a find. To hear you sing some of my favourites like 'Here comes the sun', and 'Annies song', and then to find you sing to praise the Lord. It dont get any better than this.
  • The only bad part of this was that it ended. Loved every second of it.
  • Probably the best known song of salvation and grace. Written by a former slave ship captain and drunkard turned gospel preacher. It reminds me of the man that I was before Jesus Christ came into my life and saved me. I can’t tell you how happy and excited I am that the Petersens have performed this classic of God’s love and grace!
  • Absolutely beautiful. God saves people. I had an alcohol issue for years. I cried out to the good lord for help. I have never had a drop of alcohol since. Praise the lord.
  • @sambow4u
I've Picked , Played , sung with Trios , quartets , Funerals , Weddings and and the Red, White and Bluegrass festival here , I've Picked 50+ yrs. and without a doubt , with the Dobro, Fiddle , doghouse bass , flat top , and you two , three singing ,,,, That's the probably the best I've ever heard Amazing Grace ! That feller playing Dobro , has got a Ear ,,, he'sa great dobro picker !
  • May GOD bless you today, tomorrow and ever more. Please keep singing.
  • Grown man standing reduced to tears here on a Sunday morning. No reason other than the beauty of this.
  • @Pedro-hv3go
Imagine the day where everything ends, the day after all wars, all suffering, all pain... and those who were persecuted on Earth, those who stayed off sin, those who died for Christ name, stop and praise Him in Heaven, in His almightyt throne! This song would be the perfect one to sing to our king! Maranatha O come back Jesus, we need you!
  • "When we've been there 10,000 years..." and this old man got teary eyed. I just found The Petersens a day or so ago. Amazing.
  • I had mixed emotions listening to this song. My grandmother, who went to be with the Lord a few months ago, would play this on the piano every time I went to visit her. I know she is in a better place but I miss her every day.
  • I’m currently away on a mission trip, in Paraguay, “working on a building, working on a building, working on a building for my Lord, for my Lord” and ministering to school kids (in the public schools). I’m tired, weak, and worn, so being able to hear you do this beautiful hymn is fuel for my soul. Thank you for continually being a blessing to me!
  • @karlsmith8872
When these ladies smile the whole world looks brighter!
  • The country...OUR country....needs this so much right now. Thank you Petersen's. Thank you!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
  • Ellen could sing the menu of the local diner and I would listen in amazement
  • I loved how Karen kept her head bowed in reverence for so long, I am with you dear sister in Christ. Always hold Him up first.
  • Thanks so much for this song, as it has had been a great message through the centuries. Written by John Newton 1772. He was once a slave trader, was converted to Christ and became a minister. In fact he encouraged the Rev Richard Johnston to accompany the First Fleet of convicts to Auistralia in 1788. A big shoutout for the captions of the lyrics so the deaf and hard of hearing have access to the message. God bless. Lyn Lockrey, Australia.
