I designed and modeled this ship, with input from Angelos Karderinis who provided much of the hangar bay interior, as well as all of the renders in this video. Check out his work!

This model was a big undertaking that included input from a lot of people. Angelos Karderinis was instrumental in fleshing out the hangar and rendering virtually all the beauty shots for the video. The Rebel Nebulon comes from Adam Burch of Hangar-B productions. So that's his Nebulon when we're fading between the two versions. We used it as a guide to the proportions for the Imperial version, and a few of its components are still visible in the final model, too! Some of the details (particularly in the hangar) are also sourced from other artists, such as Ole Magnus Schei Sunnevåg (who has incredible Star Wars renders on ArtStation under that name). Many additional greeble details come from Howard Day (who can also be found on ArtStation with that name).

"Just once, I'd like to destroy a starship that we didn't pay for!" ―Imperial Admiral Hurkk at the Battle of Oovo IV
-
Henry, we need to get you hired by ILM because your a genius when it comes to ship designs.
-
Probably your best work yet!
-
Now, imagine an alternate timeline, with these frigates painted in the red and white of Republic warships, and carrying a squadron of Nimbus-class V-Wings.
-
Admiral Hurkk: "Just once, I'd like to destroy a starship that we didn't pay for!" After he saw the rebels using Nebulon B frigates.
-
This makes a little more sense as it’s heavily armored
-
i hope some one models this into a empire at war mod
-
This reimagining makes so much sense! And it seems entirely possible and logical, one need look no further than the Y-wing bombers used by the Rebellion. The armor was stripped and the parts simplified for maintenance and to increase speed, which was fitting considering the high speed hit-and-run tactics employed by the Rebellion. And this looks so good and the canon version legitimately looks stripped down by comparison. Brilliant!

This version would be nice to have in "Empire at War" as an Imperial vessel.
-
This is officially part of my head-cannon. If it' cool, I'd like to incorporate this model and lore into an Age of Rebellion table-top campaign I'm writing.
-
I have always thought the Nebulon-B looked way too weak. This would explain that like the Clone Wars Y-Wing vs the New Hope Y-Wing.
-
I personally consider fan designs like this as part of my head-canon as they fit in nicely and only build upon the Disney Canon and Legends as well

encounters rebel nebulon-b "Look how theyve slaughtered you my boy"
-
I wonder what the disgusting Nebulon-C looked liked originally?
-
Like the Y wing, this ship has seen better days.
-
Kota's Nebulon in Force Unleashed II had like a hundred A-wings and Y-wings as well as a whole damn railway connecting both ends There's like no agreed-upon size for this thing
