Algerian boxer Imane Khelif was booted from the 2023 Women’s World Boxing Championships after failing the International Boxing Association (IBA)'s gender eligibility test, reportedly over Khelif's elevated testosterone levels.
“We should disregard the evidence before our eyes and those pesky XY chromosomes,” Ms Panahi said.
“We are supposed to pretend that disorders of sex development give males a free pass to compete in women's events. On what planet is that fair to female competitors.”

NO ONE is saying an “XY” cannot compete at the Olympics or any other sporting event. We are simply saying that they CANNOT compete against WOMEN.

I’m Greek and 60. We invented Olympics. I watched a few minutes of the opening ceremonies, turned off my TV called my cable company immediately and had my cable and internet disconnected. I’m glad I got to enjoy 14 Olympics before all this nonsense. I’m using my neighbors Wi-Fi (with permission) I’m not giving media or networks a dime ever. I am so done with the nonsense this world has become.

This is the fairess rule : Men compete against men Trans Men compete against trans men WoMen compete against Women TransWoMen compete against TransWomen Etc. No mixing whatsoever

The fact that they call it a "gender eligibility test" should tell you all you need to know about the IOC "process". As I've said before, until actual women athletes opt out of competitions with men, this will never end.

The International Boxing Association (IBA) tested Karo types, and Imane Khekif and Lin Yu-Ting were identified as 100% men. XY chromosomes, high testerone, there is no way they can be anything but 100% males. The IBA does not own the test. The test was done independently and they received it from India and Indonesian where Imane and Lin were competing. The IBA gave both Imane and Lin and opportunity to retest to show without a doubt that they are female and they refused to do so, so they were disqualified from the world championships. Imane and Lin became enraged that they were testing their gender, but both signed contracts agreeing to be legally tested. And those tests show them to be 100% male. Imane and Lin then went on to compete in the Olympics where the IOC does not test the biological sex of the athlete. The IBA contacted the IOC over a year ago to warn about both of these two fighters because they were concerned about the safety of women. The IOC didn't even respond to the IBA or bother to test Imane and Lin. The IOC only verifies the biological sex of an athlete by what the athlete says and their passport. Thomas Bach, the President of the IOC confirmed that's how they do the verification. They do not test at all.
