My tolerance of even remotely attempting to understand someone who can't identify a great thing when it's smack dab in their face, is deficient at this point in my life. I will NEVER again try to understand why someone would choose to play pretend in anyone's life when it's not what they actually want. Leave people alone if you are not ready. Figure yourself out independently. It's unfair to "figure yourself out" while in the midst of someone's genuine love for you. It's terribly selfish. You can literally ruin a person like that.

Protect your peace. He said he’s always honest with you after you said he lied about kissing another woman for a week. He’s not ready for a healthy mature friendship or relationship, especially if he told you he can’t wait for you to get a man. Trust your gut and move on for yourself.

That birthday moment brought tears to her eyes immediately. See this is why lovers can not be friends. She will carry him like luggage into a beautiful relationship. He says that he is giving her time to heal... NOPE... He is not because he is continuing to be a person in her life playing the good guy. It’s obvious that she’s still deeply involved with this man emotionally. Every chance she gets she tells him how much she loves him. I need my girl to take her advice and RUN. She’s still in waaay too deep. And the sad part is…he knows her worth but would never acknowledge it because he wants to keep her stuck emotionally. So sad

This isn't healthy. One will struggle with unrequited love while one will withhold their true love due to past hurt. Cut the cord. Catch up once a year. Maybe send holiday greetings but move on. He's going to continue to say hurtful things because he's hurt she won't give it another shot. She'll stick around because she truly does love him and wants some form of a relationship, if not romantic. It's only going to get worse if they get in other relationships.

He is gonna cry once he realizes what he let go. He is young and foolish. I pray she finds someone that loves her and is able to respect and receive her love. This young lady is stunning and her heart is golden. Dude you dumb! Ain’t no way any man with common sense would let that beautiful, good hearted woman leave- NO WAY!
