Vital proteins do help strengthen nails, but they won't really do anything for the skin. I have tried almost everything to look younger + delay aging as much as possible, anything from face exercises, vitamin C serum, Fraxel, collagen supplements and of course Retin A (7 years straight), home devices and what not. However, nothing made any real difference compared to the high-quality derma pen I purchased for around 100 bucks. Within 3 months of use, my skin has improved DRAMATICALLY. I don't look like I'm 18 again, but definitely not 44 either. My fine lines have disappeared completely, and my nasolabial folds are way less are nonexist (Never had jowls though). People often underestimate the power of wounding and the revolutionary effects it can have on the skin and instead paying thousands of dollars for fillers, botox, etc.

I just finished chemo for breast cancer. The chemo made my skin so thin that it tears when I wasg it with a wash cloth. I'm so grateful for this video.

I have been taking Vital Proteins Collagen Advanced for 3 years. Helped my joints tremendously. Im a runner. And yes I’ve noticed mild improvements on my skin.
  • @LushOLicious
Yes, please do a video on the order of using these key ingredients!

I take vital proteins and I haven't noticed any difference in my skin but it's definitely helped with my hair loss and has strengthened my weak brittle nails.

The collagen peptide is great for my joints.

I’m just being honest, I’m 38 and have always taken really good care of my skin starting at age 23. I use to get Botox but stopped. This is what I use and it works for me: 1.) healthy diet, full of protein (grass fed meat, butter) healthy fats, antioxidants 2.) exercise. I walk 30-45 mins about 5 days a week and toning exercises at home. I sometimes do hot yoga classes. 3) I use tretinoin and vitamin c. 4) I don’t tan and I use mineral sunscreen. 5) I don’t smoke anything lol and I don’t drink. 6) Supplements. I do drink collagen peptides in my coffee every morning, Nutrafol and ashwaganda. I have noticed a difference adding the collagen proteins in my coffee (I added this 4 weeks ago) People think I look 28…I’ll take it. Just sharing my advice ❤

I'd love to see a video on how to layer these ingredients for best effectiveness. Thanks Dr.!

I didn't think the powder would make a difference, but after about 5 months people around me started complimenting my skin and asking what I was doing. Including people that know skin, like my tattoo artist and botox girl. I'll never be without it now

I started using Marine Collagen from Applied Nutrition last year (it’s much cheaper than the one from Vital Proteins, I’m in the UK - not sure if it’s available in other countries) and I could see the results straight away - my hair and nails started growing at supersonic speed. Skin also improved a lot. I use one scoop a day with a glass of orange juice. Within the past 12 months this was the product helped the most, along with Vichy Lift Activ Supreme Vitamin C Brightening Serum. These two worked magic for me.
  • When I started taking the vital proteins powder it made a huge difference in my skin! I'm a 55 year old guy that has never done anything to take care of my skin but tried it because my wife had some. I didn't expect anything really... I was totally blown away at how quick my skin smoothed out and the acne bumps I've had on the back of my arm my whole life went away. It was crazy. So maybe it doesn't do much for some but for me it was huge and noticeable very quickly.

When I’m consistent with collagen intake, I definitely notice a difference in my skin (more hydrated, softer).
  • @minamatos2935
Not only did Vital Protein work for me as a 59 yr old but everyone thinks I’m in my early 40’s. Also, it helped with joint pain. I was wearing a hand brace every night for very bad pain, pain is gone. When I ran out of this once, and only once because that pain came right back. I will never be without it and is cheaper than a lot of other products out there. Just my opinion ❤❤❤. Also, you have to use it for longer than a few months. I’ve used it for over 5yrs. Amazing product !!!!
  • @4u2cre8
I use that particular collagen powder and I have noticed my skin is smoother and slightly more plump. Your skin is already flawless and wrinkle-free so you're likely not seeing a difference because you didn't really need it to begin with.
