  • "In space no-one can hear you insist there are only two genders" haha I love your shirt
  • Hiya Finn - For me I already had PCOS then to chuck in T was just terrible for me, the pain was always after orgasm for me then later on it turned to cramping and i was in so much pain nearly everyday and once i explained this to the gender clinic they where more than happy to sort surgery out for me, now nearly two years post op and honestly i just feel so much relief within myself. Kids for me was never something i wanted and i was always vocal about that from a young age, parenthood is just not for me!
  • @thinkcorgi
I’m almost a year an T and I’ve been having really horrible cramping pain as well. I’m so relieved it wasn’t just me, thank you for making this video :)
  • @applepie9937
The way you talk about things just calms me down. Even If it's something that frightens me. Thank you 💙
  • Mine was put on hold indefinitely due to Covid-19 and I got the call on Friday that it's happening the first week of March. So... that was a shock. Now I'm trying desperately to learn everything and get prepped. Should have known to just come here first!
  • @ethanlevi1496
Thank you for talking about this. I had exactly the same kind of pain you had and had to actually really fight to get my hysto. I was turned down multiple times because I was "too young and might regret it" (I had my hysto in October, at 21). I also had endometriosis and got a rare diagnosis of FATWO (Female Adnexual Tumor of Probable Wolfian Origin)- I am number 83 in the world 😬
  • First - quote of the day: "This transgender cake is cooked!" I love it! 😁 As a cis-woman going through early menopause I know the misery of period pain and hormonal rollercoasters; what you had to deal with in terms of surgery & plumbing pain once testosterone was in the mix - eep! And that's before factoring in the gender dysphoria mental anguish you describe 😢 Thank you for educating people like me about your life experiences xx
  • @HoundTeethers
I am so so scared of getting my hysterectomy. I'm 20, almost 21 and I've been on Testosterone for about 2 whole years. my period came back no matter what pill i was given, and what was a normal period every month turned into a nonstop flow for 4 whole weeks. my cramps somehow got worse than before I started T (I used to miss school/work before hormones), and of course the prolonged blood loss has caused major fatigue. I've decided to just jump the fence and get the hysterectomy before my top surgery. but I'm scared, truthfully, i hate the idea of going under the knife! your video is the first I'll be watching to research the hysterectomy, thank you for sharing and being so open on here for fellow ftm or general afab people further down the line 🧡
  • @dannimclean4887
I just wanna say to you finn that you are a huge inspiration to me and your strength gives me strength and hope that the future can be better, I'm still not sure if I want to transition and I'm questioning my gender but after going through a really difficult time (unrelated to gender) I find so much comfort in your videos and your Instagram thank you so much for what you do
  • @Rhyzla
I’ve been tagging along for a few years now, good to hear you’re doing well. I watched your testosterone playlist as I started T in January last year. Now I’ve been referred to Dr Yelland for top surgery on the NHS, his waiting lists are short, sadly that doesn’t matter when we’re all on lockdown. Thank you so much for sharing your journey on here
  • @jodysnakeyes
Wow, I was wondering if I had to go to the doctor for the pain in my belly. It does make sense, and the hospital never gave me an answer I could do something with. It makes sens to get a hysterectomy cause of the reason you mention indeed. Thank you, for telling how it is, truthfully like always. :)
  • Thanks for this finn I am coming up 2 years on T this year and my cramps get bad too, still waiting for an appointment for the clinic so I cannot wait until I can eventually have this done!
  • @bootsy181
Another great video Finn - Much love to u both stay safe 💙💙
  • @seanalex4833
I had noticed how strong and painful it was for me also. Thank you for clarifying why. My doctors didn't tell me. The worst part for me was after the hysterectomy when my intestines moved !!! I was so glad, at that time, that I had not chosen to have children. I never wanted to, but now I am sure. Having the slightest movement inside me for 9 months would have made me crazy. It was never meant to be and I am so glad that I have made the decision that I did. Great video, very helpful. Thank you.
  • @itscolehayes
I really liked/needed this video. I’m a trans man too, currently 5 years on HRT, and the pain you describe pre op is all too familiar. Had a horrible night last night due to it. It freaks me out and I know I need to get a hysto but I’m terrified. I think I’m pretty good with pain but it still freaks me out.
  • @kevincoon1809
Its nice to know that im not the only one that has pain like that. I am constantly afraid im going to have a period but it never comes. Mine always where painful, never have been sure why. I never even talked to my doctor until recently. I am starting the process of getting the lady bits taken out. I wanted to take the time and really think about it. It is a huge choice. I appreciate the videos you make. always very helpful when i would like to learn about something. I am starting to think and research full bottom surgery. not 100% wish kind is right for me and i want to make a educated choice. Thank you for making your videos.
  • My dear Finn, another very interesting and useful video! Your experience for helping others. How many steps you have had to deal with!! And the pain!! But now, finally, you have got over everything thanks to your determination, it’s niot a given (I don’t know if it’s the right english way to say, sorry). kiss kiss to you and Chris !!!🤗👍😘
