Thanks to Addict, we know that Cherri was probably Angel's first real friend. imagine if Angel brings Cherri to the hotel as well in the future? but unlike Cherri.. Charlie and Vaggie had nothing sexual about them... well... I mean.. I feel like it was a good breath of fresh air for Angel as well, to talk to demons who had nothing to do with the world of sex at all... like... if you've been drinking soda and sugary beverages all your life and one day you were given a refreshing, cold glass of water. you know? This was probably the first time Angel never had to think about his job or money... I found it really touching in the end when Charlie told him there's more to him than he thinks and Angel kinda doesn't know how to function after that... he gets all awkward and quiet... then contemplates the idea of redemption alone in his room, a possibility that never appeared in his mind until Charlie came and opened the door... it's so sweet... in the pilot, Angel helps Cherri out by "doing his girl buddy a solid" , because Cherri was there for him when he needed her the most.. he even pushes Cherri out of harms way during the Sir Pentious fight... when Charlie was feeling down later in the episode, he reached his hand out to her wanting to comfort her, but changed his mind last second. so yes. Angel Dust can definitely be redeemed... He's not a bad person... you can tell he cares for his friends..

This gives a whole new insight of Angel tbh. He is basically under the control of his boss and is getting abused by him - I feel like he really wants to escape this life cause he himself knows that this aint making him happy, but he feels like he cant break out of it, maybe he feels even hopeless, like he doesnt deserve any better or something like that. Gosh, I wanna hug him so bad, Angel is just so very hurt ;v;

That makes the scene where Angel trying to reach out to Charlie in the pilot much more sense

Am I the only one who noticed that Angel was shocked and kinda stopped being sarcastic when he seen Charlie was the first person who didn't talk down to him? Just a nice detail.

The voice acting in this was phenomenal! 10/10 production value!

After watching Addict, this feels beyond sad. The way he refers to redemption as silly sounds like he doesn't feel like he deserves it. 😞

Ngl, at first i kinda hated angel because of that indiferent attitude in the pilot, but after some time passed and watched "addict" God i love this baby, he is secretly screaming for help but won't admit it bc he doesn't want ppl to see him weak when he shows his soft side. So he vents his rage of being sexually abused by committing murders and dark humor WE STAN ANGIE AND WE MOST PROTECC THIS PRECIOUS BEAN
